{Okay, I guess it'll be day...}
Celeste padded through the forest, snow sending chills up her spine as she treaded across the forzen ground. She raised her head, her eyes focusing on a figure in te distance. Her ears perked, and her nostrils flared. She classified the blotchy figure as a male elk. By instinct, she felt her legs push her into a crouching position, and she flattened her ears against her skull, beggining to silently creep forward, her lip curled in a snarl. Each step brought her closer to her prey, and a smirk replaced the snarl on her lips. When she was about 5 meters away, she lunged, heading into a sprint towards the hooved animal, her muscles rippling as she ran, snow crunching underneath her paws. The frightened elk began to bound away, but it wasn't as fast in the snow, and Celeste gained on it easily. She opened her mouth, and lashed out at the creature's legs, feeling warm blood flow into her mouth. The elk staggered and fell, staining the snow red. Celeste began to tear at it until it stopped moving, and she smiled in triumph.
