Shadow looked at Tal. "I.. I can't. I don't know who my parents are, or where they are. I... I think they tried to kill me..."

Iris sighed then got an idea. She stood and padded outside and over to a tree. A wolf lay sleeping next to it. Iris took slow steps closer then attacked him. He immediately woke up and they broke out into a loud fight, yelping and snarling at one another as they injured each other as best as they could. Iris's mother appeared, smirking. She tripped iris and it gave the wolf the chance to pin her down and bite her neck while raking his claws down her belly. "You knew I'd come, but you didn't know you'd die iris." Her mother sneered, unaware that iris would have pups, but knew that blows to the underbelly was commonly fatal.

Skye nodded. "yeah."

((just got back from seeing my neighbors cat have five kittens =^^=))

"I'm gonna stay here. It's kinda cold outside." Skye said.

Briar heard the yelping and snarling from his place on the rock spire near the dens, and jumped down as soon as he recognized Iris's voice. Racing to the scene, he saw Iris, a strange wolf, and the she-demon known as 'Iris's mother'. Snarling, he leaped down the hill to them and tackled the Shade, biting down on her neck as hard as possible. Fear for his love made him angry, and his anger gave him strength and courage he might not have had otherwise.

the shade yelped and thrashed her head, trying to him off. "Let go fool!!" she spat.

Iris finally kicked the wolf off of her and stood, panting.
