[Puncuate. First warning]
Bloodsoul | Warrior | Male | StoneClan | Crushless | StarClan Prophet | Discovering
The warrior originally planned to go hunting. Darting out of the camp entrance, the warrior burst into the training clearing. His paws tripped on deep foliage about the border of the territory. He was flung into a somersault into an overgrown area, falling down a hill. Twigs scratched his sides. When he made it to the bottom, he let out an exhausted and defeated sigh. It was woodsy and the scent of twolegs and KIttypets was strong. So was the smell of concrete and building supplies. Was this a new twoleg-place?
A beautiful black she-cat with a few white spots approached him, the smell of milk and twolegs spread over him as she walked nearer. "Hello, I'm Sali." [Pronounce Say-le] She looked at a small open wound on his shoulder, probably reopened from the fall. "Oh my! Come, please. I can take care of you." She promised, looking up.
Bloodsoul was cautious. He didn't want to meet or have anything to do with anyone but his clan. It could be a trap. But maybe he could learn something useful from this experience. He pondered with himself. Should he go? Yes. "I'll let you see what you can do with my scratch, but no more. Only as long as you answer a few questions I have." He tried not to seem subdued.
Sali looked worried. A small black-and-white kit and a pure black kit tumbled out from behind her. Sali used her tail to scoot them behind her, protecting them from Bloodsoul."The black one is "Sunn. The other is Moon "
Bloodsoul nodded, not wanting to stay and chat. "Okay. Lets get this show on the road. How long have you and your twolegs been here?"
Sali looked at her paws, her kits curling in a ball tiredly. "Maybe less than a moon. My twoleg is a builder. He doesn't seem to care about me anymore, ever since the building project. Sunn and Moon are my kits. They haven't been getting the love and care they need to live. They could probably die. I need to hunt for them, and I'm not a very skilled hunter."
Bloodsoul, who was hunting moments before, has a mouse burried just up the hill. "I'll be right back, then you can heal my shoulder." Sali looked nervous, looking back to her kits. "I won't hurt them, or let anyone hurt them." He promised. Sali nodded, still wary on trusting the abrupt fallen Tom.
Bloodsoul slightly walked up the slanted hill, exhausted from the fall just moments before. He noticed the mouse tail and gripped it with his teeth. He flung himself back down the hill, taking control of his paws. He approached the mother and her kits. "I'm Bloodsoul. I'm a warrior of StoneClan." He watched at the she-cat was cautious about the mouse, then turned surprised as he said 'clan'.
"What's a clan?" Sunn suddenly flicked her ears up, Moon's eyes slightly opened, revealing her beautiful gaze.
"A clan is a rage group of loyal and brave cats. We have warriors. Those are the ones who hunt and defend the clan. And apprentices in whom the warriors mentor to do what they do. I'm a warrior. We also have queens, the mother's of kits. Kits are waiting to be apprentices. We have medicine cats who heal the wounded or sick. Finally, we have the elders. They're the eldest of the clan, retired from their jobs but still work loyally and tell amazing stories." Bloodsoul nodded proudly.
"I want to join one." Sunn and Moon said, both yawning and closing their eyes, squirming their small bodies.
Sali blinked once, looking to her paws. "I've never heard of these clans before. Would my kits and I survive there?"
Bloodsoul suddenly realized something. There were obviously many more KIttypets and many more twolegs. If he let Wolfstar meet one round of KIttypets, how many more would ask to be in StoneClan. "Do any other house-cats know of you living here?" He whispered, using his paw to move her an deer kits into the shadows.
"Nope." Sali's eyes grew wide, unsure of any harm towards her or her kits.
"You are truly new, huh? Quickly, follow me. I'll carry Moon, you carry Sunn. Stop for nothing." Sali's eyes finally grew to the widest they could, fear overpowered the mother. She gripped Sunn's scruff, following Bloodsoul's dark colored tail. It was dusk, dark, almost night. The sun was down, moon shining. Moon whined, complaining she couldn't see well. Bloodsoul chuckled to himself.
"Faster." Bloodsoul warned, seeing camp just in sight. He darted into the clearing, Sali, Sunn and Moon all got their fair share of horrified, defensive, and angered stares.
Bloodsoul, Sali, Sunn, and Moon flew into Wolfstar's den, shutting the lichen before any more people could see. It was dark, as it was outside, only seeing the outline of the cats. "Who are they?" Wolfstar turned her once sleeping muzzle towards Bloodsoul. [Since no one went along with the meeting, eh] Bloodsoul didn't answer at first, Wolfstar got the KIttypet milk and twoleg scent surround her. Her clan was growing short from the deaths and such. She had to accept anyone. She nodded, closing her eyes again, placing her large muzzle over her paws. "Sure. I'd prefer if our sleep in my small den. It's because the warriors and apprentices are probably defensive and rude to see a new face. Especially a house-cat." She didn't want to say KIttypet, offending her. "You can sleep in the corner with you kits, I'll fetch you a squirrel and borage." Then she realized how much her bones ached. She was so tired, sad, grieving. "Please, Bloodsoul, can you get the squirrel, borage, and help Lightwing out? Until Tinydream, Redfury, Speckledkit, and Softkit are okay I'm not going to be."
Bloodsoul nodded, swishing throu the lichen, darting to the prey pile, picking up the squirrel, and darting to the medicine cat den. He poked his head in, saw the leaves on the floor, gripped them in his teeth, and darted back out into the clearing and into Wolfstar's den. He got stares and comments as he ran back into the den.
Sali wa sturdy scared. She had no idea who these cats were or why she'd asked so quickly. For her kits. She finally decided that was her answer. They would of died if she was the one hunting for herself, no milk to feed her kits. She knew no cats, if they'd harm her kits, or anything like such. She sighed to herself quietly, nipping a piece of the borage plant before her meal. "This is Sunn, and this is Moon." She whispered to Wolfstar. "I'm Sali."
