Hazelpaw sighed. It was hard trying to organize thoughts with a day so unpredictable. Pushing it to the back of her mind, she saw Sparrowpaw emerge out of her den. Hazelpaw's hazel eyes flickered with interest. The small apprentice got to her paws and padded over to the medicine cat apprentice. "How is everything today?" she greeted. "Any problems?" She asked as a conversation starter.

Russetpaw exited her den, glancing around for something to do. The entire day had been a drag, she hadn't done very much at all.

Sparrowpaw glanced up in suprise at Hazelpaw. "Oh, Hazelpaw!" she meowed. "Yeah, no problems. Hey, do you want to come and gather some stuff we me? I could use the company. Unless, of course, you have something to do," she meowed.

Ashenfire walked in camp as a large limp squirrel hanged from his jaws. The large cream coated tom walked towards the Fresh-kill pile and dropped it off. He licked his paw and looked around camp, he waved his tail in greeting to Russetpaw and he smiled at her.

Exactly. Hazelpaw thought happily. Just plain old unpredictable. She finish her thoughts and replied, "Sure, I'd love to!". What are we collecting?" she asked ready to go on an adventure with her clanmate.

Russetpaw glanced over at a new scent emerged her nose, another peice of prey. She spotted Ashenpaw standing next to the fresh kill pile, a new squirrel sprawled across the pile. "Hi, Ashenfire," she greeted the warrior.

The cream coated tom smiled, "Hello Russetpaw! How are you?..." he purred to the apprentice. His amber eyes glowed and he smiled warmly at her despite the bitter air.
