Fishleap managed to obscure his shudder as he slowly edged his way out of the camp entrance. His paws seemed to move in slow motion as he dragged himself down the rugged slope leading to the bottom of the waterfall's pool. He knocked a rock away from the path and watched as it plummeted downwards, gaining speed before disappearing into the misty pool with a satisfying splash. The warrior launched himself across to another ledge, scrabbling onto the rock. A spray of water splattered his pelt and he lapped at the droplets, feeling every bit slide down his throat. With a flick of his tail, he glanced back to make sure Rockpath was following.

Rockpath kept a swift pace upon her, loping behind Fishleap with brisk movements. In one swift motion she leapt up and over the ledge opposite from her. Landing silently beside Fishleap, she blinked and flicked her tail. "The prey must've been already dead had they not been scared away with all the noise you're making!" she exclaimed, a rather amused note in her tone. Although her eyes betrayed nothing of the sort, her tail-tip was twitching, as well were her whiskers.

"Gee, thanks," Fishleap grumbled towards Rockpath, tightening his jaw. However, his lips rose into a slight smile, or smirk, as he dropped down next to the pool with a soft thud. His amber eyes twinkled, a hint of amusement hidden in them. The short-furred tom flicked his tail before brushing a ferny bush aside with abgrunt of annoyance. He sniffed the air, allowing he scent of the forest to settle in his nostrils. He pricked his ears for any acuffling and peered around, alert.
