Padded over to Pinewhisker and Greymist after chanting Copperwhiskers name. She was proud of the she cat and new the clan would be on heavy guard now

Sandpaw had a brief moment of pure disbelief and joy before it all came crashing down around him. His ears fell backward as harsh words were exchanged. How he had desperately wanted to say yes. To be one of 'the apprentices.' Sighing, he scuffed a paw as Heronpaw padded away. "I'm sorry..." He whispered after the receding form before bringing his attention to Sagepaw. "What's wrong?"

Thunderbelly sighed. Looking at Redeye he got up and mumbled, "I only want to be friends. Please understand. I don't want you waiting for me forever. I'm not sure I'll ever be ready for a mate. And I don't have those feelings for you." He padded away, the whole massive frame of his body drooping in despair.

Rabbitleap spluttered under the attack, laughing as he shoved Jaywing, pinning her underneath him playfully. Touching his nose to hers, he gave her a lick on the chick then in between the ears. "Perfectly fine until some cat interrupted my wake up process. Tsk, tsk Little Miss."

"But, but who will ever like me?" Red-eye gave up on everything and fell asleep in the warrior den.

"Well why don't you just look at Red-eye! she looks so depressed all because of Thunderbelly!"She said angrily to Sandpaw.

"Sorry Greymist, only Dewstar knows for now," Pinewhisker said sheepishly. He led the loner up the rocky trail, which included lots of jumping and behind the roaring waterfall. "Welcome to MistClan," the amber-eyed warrior mowed, quite please with himself. He showed the new tom the leaders' den and paused seeing that she was occupied. "I'm sure Dewar won't mind if you eat that squirrel, seeing that you're nearly bone and fur."

Dewstar smiled at Ravenclaw and purred, "The new deputy will be chosen today." She noticed Red-eye standing near her den and blinked, "Excuse me." With those words she made her way through the lvines hanging from the mouth of heave and mewed curtly, "What can I do for you Red-eye?"

Heronpaw sighed, he really wanted to get to know the shy apprentice better, but it seemed StarClan was preventing hat from happening. With a displeased grout he promised to try again late that day.

"Sorry dear," Jaywing giggled. "I just wanted to inform you that there will be a new deputy this afternoon! Right at sun-high!" She beamed at Moonflower, "Have you heard the news?!"

"It's about Thunderbelly. Why is always so mean to me? I try to ignore it but he hurt my feelings. Should I just move on from him forever? I've already made some decisions on the answer but I'm not sure those are right.

Moonflower walked over to Mintclaw. "So, are you happy about the new deputy choice?" She asked cheerfully.

Willowsong coughed. "That's new." She muttered with surprise. She coughed a few more times. "perhaps I should see Goosepaw." She mused

Went to say something to the new cat when she heard, Redeye. She padded over and tried to be as nice as she could. "Redeye..he wasn't trying to be mean to you. Sometime grieveng takes longer then you wish and you can't be mean to Thunderbelly if he doesn't share the same feelings for you." She let her green eyes go soft, "Trust me it will only make you in pain. Plus he did loose his mate. Give the big guy a break, and just be friends." Flicking her tail tip she added, "Let him make his own desicions, it is his heart, as it is and if he doesn't have feelings for you..then well you have to accept that." She mewed soft, to let Redeye know she wasn't trying to hurt her feelings..she just knew what she was going through. She turned her head to Pinewhisker..her crush and bestfriend and sighed. "Give him time and if he comes to like you the way you do, so be it. If not then you'll have to just let it be that way too" she looked down sadly.

Moonflower padded over to Roseheart. "Hello." She said brightly. "Do you guys want to share tongues?" She asked.

She smiled, "Sure Moonflower" she nodded

"Thanks Roseheart. And Moonflower nothanks right now maybe later." she said trying to bring herself back to the life around her.

"Oh." Moonflower said. "That's fine." She grinned. When she and Roseheart left, she asked her old friend, "So, how is it going with Pinewhisker?" She asked.

Ravenclaw padded over to Redeye. "Are you feeling alright?" He asked. "You look upset." The black tom cast a shadow over her.
