FInchstep hid in the shadow of a large oak tree , eyes fixed on a sparrow pecking on the ground three tail lengths away. She tensed then pounced giving it the final death blow. "thank you starclan, we would starve without you" she prayed then burried it with ravenclaw's mouse.

[float away.]

"Hunting... Two-legs hunt?" Surprise was evident in his voice as he observed. Thunderbelly frowned as the two-legs strapped their prey to the hood of the monster.

Goosepaw glanced up, and with a huff got up, leaving his squirrel half-eaten. It would remain that way for a while now it seemed seeing as he would now have to go swimming to remove the mouse-bile from his paws. "Yeah. Give me a second, you can come with me to the stream." He hooked the disgusting ball and hopped back over to Willowsong. "Where do you need it?"

Fleetkit bounced around her friend, dark gray and silver fur flying. "I know! I know! I hope Darkcloud is my mentor." She batted at Amberkit's face with her paws, a happy grin plastered on her face.

Copperwhisker chuckled, rolling on her back and wrapping her front paws around his neck, pulling his nose down to hers. "I love you worry puss."

Amberkit ducked and swept at her legs. "I just want to be a warrior so I can defend my clan!" She lowered her voice and leaned closer to Fleetkit. Hey Fleetkit. Let's sneak out tonight to prove that we can really be warriors!" She whispered.

Moonflower shook her head. "I thought twolegs had enough food as it is." she snorted. "I bet they don't even honor their prey." she said disdainfully.

Willowsong flicked her tail a tthe back of her neck. "Thanks Goosepaw." She said happily.

Ravenclaw grinned and stalked off, catching the scent of a vole and another cat...

Darkcloud purred, "I love you lil fluffy." He chuckled as he nuzzled her neck softly.

Sootrain smiled as she waited paitently.

Firefly glimpsed a black tom hunting, despite the unknown cat his scent seemed familiar... He hid himself in a dark bramble thicket and watched the cat in intrest.

Ravenclaw pricked his ears and listened carefully. There was definitely some cat in the bramble thicket. The scent seemed familiar somehow... He started walking and kicked up a rock which landed with a satisfying thud in the thicket.

Firefly Pounced on ravenclaw slamming him to the floor hissing in rage.

[float away.]

"Alright! What shall we do?" Fleetkit quivered in excitement. She could finally show Darkcloud that she was as brave as he was.

"Probably not. Such wasteful creatures." Thunderbelly sniffed, turning around, aiming to return to camp. "Well the source as been investigated. This poses no threat to our clan."

Goosepaw dabbed gently at the tick, nose wrinkled at the scent of the bile. "Anymore?" He watched the helpless insect squirm as it began to suffocate, finally falling off and flailing on the ground. He bent down and cracked it open with his teeth, killing it.

"You better." She chuckled, licking the bridge of his nose. She couldn't have been any luckier. She had the tom of her dreams and soon she would have his kits.

Darkcloud purred gently as he kept her close to his side, grooming her ginger pelt.

Sootrain watched with small interest before shaking out her fur.

"No. Thank you." Willowsong purred. "You two have fun now." She grinned and padded off.

Moonflower nodded. Suddenly, there was a peculiar sound. She peered closer at the camp. She shrugged and started walking away when she stepped on something. "What's this?" She asked. She poked a small shiny case with her paw. "It smells like...stale fire." She said, frowning.

Amberkit smiled. "We can catch prey!" She said. "I can teach you how!"
