((I don't mind at all.

))
Thunderbelly chuckled at his friend's statement. "No matter how you put that, it will always be an understatement." His ears pricked at the new questions, which he didn't take him long to consider before replying, "Majority of cats end up walking the warrior path. There are a pawful that go a different route. We call them medicine cats. They are the ones that learn the use of herbs and healing, and are our connection to Starclan. Starlcan being our dead ancestors. Each clan never has more than two medicine cats within its ranks, which I'm grateful for. For some reason they always seem to end up grumpy and overly assertive.
As for leaders. The very first one to exist was appointed by Starclan... or perhaps started the clan by themselves. It really varies clan to clan. Once the first leader is set though, we follow a strict chain of command. The leader appoints a deputy, and that deputy is next in line for the leadership. Should the leader die, then the deputy takes their place. Should they both die then it falls to the medicine cat to decide the new leader, usually based on guidance from the Starclan." The more he explained the more Thunderbelly noticed just how complicated their way of life was. They did have a lot rules, which could in turn scare off most cats. But their rules were needed, they ensured order, right?
Copperwhisker moved closer to Darkcloud, sliding under his chin. "No." came the muffled reply as she pressed her face against him.
