Scarletheart sniffed the ground, shivering as the cold snow touched her nose. She shook the white substance from her nose and sniffed the air, finding the very faint scent of a mouse. With her nose listed to the air, Scarletheart followed the scent until she started to hear scuffling on the ground by an old dead tree. She dropped into a hunter's crouch, her haunches even as she stalked forward. Scarletheart bunched her muscles, and with a leap she was on top of the mouse, with it trapped in her paws. She killed the prey with a swift bite to the spine. Scarletheart burried the mouse next to the tree and stood, sniffing the air once more in search of prey.

--Splashpaw--Medicine cat apprentice--Crushless--
Splashpaw shook a snowflake off the tip of her nose as she pushed her head out of the medicine den. Fresh snow was piled all over the clan clearing, which reminded the small apprentice that Leaf-bare was here, and here to stay. Still, she pushed out of the dark den and into the, less dark, though the sun had hardly risen above the horizon, clearing. The camp was quiet and serene until a tom pushed his way through the entrance, possibly with more noise then intended.

--Frostnose--Warrior--Crushing--
Frostnose stared at the empty clearing, hoping no-one was around to see what had just happened. What had happened, though, was a missed step and a very sharp downwards hill, to say the least. His ears burned when he saw the small apprentice, Splashpaw, near the medicine den. He could hear her purr from all the way where he was standing, and the flush deepened. However, slowly gathering the fish that layed by his paws, he marched through the camp to the fresh-kill pile, and dropped the fish there-- on purpose this time. Cold and embarrased, he slipped into the warriors den, but not before muttering a, "You saw nothing," to Splashpaw. She only purred more.

Applepaw yawned and looked around at the camp. She stifled a sigh and sat down, waiting for some cute tom apprentice to come and spark up a conversation. She needed a romeo. Badly. Her life was already boring, without anyone.

Reserve leader!

Silverpaw stretched, then sat up in his nest. He wasn't completely awake, and not quite conscious of where he was at the moment. Then he shook his head, clearing it. Of course. He was here, in the Snowclan apprentice den, which was seemingly empty at the moment. Other then that, everything was in place. So, in this moment of recollection, he padded out of the entrance, which opened up to a freshly-snowed clearing and two cats. One was Applepaw, another apprentice, and then his sister, Splashpaw. He didn't know who to approach, so he hesitated where he was.

Scarletheart looked around at the snow white trees. The mouse she had caught earlier, along with a vole, were dangling from her jaws. Scarletheart was greatful that she managed to pad back to camp with anything in her jaws. Leaf-bare was always tough, yet always so beautiful. She could smell the overwhelming scent of cats up ahead, knowing she was approaching camp. She sniffed again, scenting Applepaw, Silverpaw, Splashpaw, and Frostnose. The calico she-cat pushed her way into the brambles and into the clearing. She nodded a greeting to Splashpaw as she passed the medicine den, making her way to the fresh-kill pile to drop her offering in the pile of prey.

Applepaw lashed her tail and lay down, her head on her paws in boredom. She let her mind draw into daydream. Looking up at the sky, she imagined what it was like to fly. To be free. Not stuck down on earth with cats who don't even make her life interesting. She thought about Silverpaw. Ahhh, he sure was handsome. Why didn't he realize she needed him? Was he really blind enough to not see her pain she goes through to be with him everyday. All the struggling she goes through to say one single… Good morning?

Splashpaw blinked once or twice, after being caught dreaming, the pulled back to earth. She realized it was Scaletheart, however, and managed to mew a hasty, "Hello," before dipping her head. She still watched the warrior drop her prey on top of the fresh-kill pile-- the thought of it brought a purr to her mind, though she bit it back.

--Frostnose--Warrior--Crushing--
Frostnose dipped his head farther into the soft green nest, drifting in and out of consciousness. Still, he knew what was going on outside, or rather, who was outside. The three apprentices, and Scarletheart. His ears burned at the thought of his morning as the scent of her catch drifted across the clearing, reminding him of his own.

--Silverpaw--Apprentice--Confused--
Silverpaw watched the she-cat come into the camp, though his attention was soon drawn to something else. He still had the choice of who to talk to, but finally decided-- Neither. He walked calmly past Applepaw, and mewed a soft, "Hey," before he slipped out of the camp entrance. With a glance behind him, satisfied that no one could see him, he broke into a run, his paws slipping on the snow, but he didn't slow down. An adventure? Yes please!

Applepaw couldn't take it anymore. She dove into the bushes and stood in front of Silverpaw. "Thats it? Just hello? I can't believe you! I mean, I'm a bored apprentice your age, and you don't even bother to talk to me?" She raged, fire in her eyes. Suddenly, she calmed down, her eyes relaxed. Thats it. She blew her chances with him. A tear was about to roll down her cheek, but she held it in.
