Dakota nodded "Ace?" he called, he padded over to Dex and licked him, "hey little buddy!" he whispered.

Dex perked his floppy ears, listening to Dakota's voice.

Dakota stopped "One sec..." he said. Dakota placed his ear to her chest, he could hear her heart, turning to Star he smiled "speak to her, reassure her that she's safe, she's probably playing dead!" he chuckled.
