Navi stopped whimpering as she noticed her brother wasn't with her.

Star growled loudly.

Dex rolled onto his back under Mitus's paw and was barely able to pull one his claws out.

Mitus pushed on him firmly, feeling his gasp for air.

Dex started trying to roll back and forth, making Mitus's paw slid off him.

Once Mitus's paw had slipped, Star bolted forward and grabbed Dex and put him beside his sister and curled around them where they'd be out of reach from Mitus.

Mitus growled and leaped at the pups, catching one in his mouth he clenched it hard so it couldn't escape. He was holding it so hard he could feel it's little neck clicking in his mighty jaws "Stay away!" he barked "unless you want to condemn your own pup."

Navi went limp in fear. She didn't know what was going on, she couldn't see it. Her breathing started slow down, and stop.

Star growled/whined, seeing her pup go limp and her breathing stop.

Mitus loosened off a little so her breathing returned but only just.

Navi's breathing didn't return.

Mitus shook her in his massive jaws, surely jolting her back.

Navi was still limp, and not breathing.

Dakota charged into camp without hesitation he bit Mitus "Star! Run, Blasé is waiting for you!" he shouted.

Mitus dropped the limp pup in surprise and snapped at Dakota.
