Personality/Bio: Drachmë is not ruthless so much as determined. He has incredible strength and prowess in battle as well as a has a firm belief in tradition and culture. He is intelligent, but it is deeper than just an outward slyness. He is cunning and calculating, many times using his wits to outsmart predators and challenges as opposed to brute force, and using his strength only as a last resort. He has a discrete vibe of a sort of "gentle and protective" nature that he carries with him, and although he won't ever admit it openly, he will always protect and defend mares; not out of need to protect his genes, but because he is genuinely concerned for their well-being even if he doesn't express it openly. He has that tough-boy look and first impression, but is really a big softy if you can win him over and get past how big and brute-looking he is for an equid. All that muscle doesn't just make him look impressive though; he can put up quite the competition when it comes to speed and agility. His in-fragility also comes on use when climbing rocky slopes, but dense forest is not his element.

Regina Regina looked at the grass but didn't the mountain lion. Either he left, or he's sneaking up on one of us. She thought. She snorted and trotted towards Siren. She called out to her, "Is he still out there?" She swished her tail back and forth as she slowed to a steady walk. She stopped at the edge of the grass, not really wanting to go in with the mountain lion still out there. The birds overhead ignored everything happening on the earth below them and still flew about seeming to have no fear. Regina was slightly jealous. She had always wished she could have been able to fly away from danger.

Drachme-
Drachme walked at a decent pace along the boarder between forest and meadowThe stream that ran through it had overflowed in the plentiful glacial run-off this year, and this little valley had been transformed into a lush, temporary marshland. Small alpine flowers had popped up seemingly overnight, their small white and blush pink heads waving swaying daintily with that hardy olive colored marsh grass. The thick stems of that particular type of fodder were bitter and not the most appealing, but with them growing in plethoras, eating the nutritions bounty was sure to keep him healthy. He plucked up the mouthfuls of grass that brushed his knees as he walked, but didn't stop to graze. He'd heard from another passing bachelor that there were two lone mares in this area, and he was curious.

Siren

Siren had since slowed her frantic running once nearing the mare. There weren't many cases where mountain lions engaged in a chase, they are more of a stalking predator so why Siren had even continued to run in the first place was just pure adrenaline. Just nearby there was a very small rock plateau, more like a tiny ridge to stand on, and so Siren neighed softly for the mare to follow and get onto higher ground and out of the grassy meadow. "I'm not sure, but to be safe I'd keep a keen eye out," she replied before coming to a stop, the soft click of her hooves against the rock giving way to silence.

Yes this mare had offered help or shown kindness, but could she be trusted. Siren gave her trust very easily, she was a very sympathetic being so she held no grudges or bias. "Who are you?" she asked, seeing it only fitting to learn her name in the least. Even though she was not on her herd land the painted mares head was lifted regally, more her own practice in posture than a display of dominance. "And do you know if this is herd land? I'm.. a little lost," Siren asked in a much quieter tone. She spoke as if she was ashamed of being lost. 'Who honestly gets so jumbled up as to completely lose track of their herd! Me, that's who. Stupid Siren,' she thought crossly to herself. Punishment was not her philosophy but when it came to her own shortcomings she tended to beat herself up.

Regina She looked at the mare before her, "I'm Regina. You?" She asked curiously. She looked around. "I haven't got a clue where I am, I just kinda wander on my own." She said happily. She really did enjoy being with the other animals. Regina stamped her foot at a bug and looked at a mother bird in a tree some distance away feeding her chicks. "Do you like birds?" Regina asked randomly. She loved birds.

He is crushing on no-one

I look around from my perch on the outcrop, surveying the quiet world below. Silence. Tranquility. Meh. The weak late-Autumn sun lights up my surroundings, tinting everything with gold, making the scenery shine but not offering any true warmth. Just an illusion of heat. But heat doesn't worry me - I'm strong enough, stocky enough, and I'm feeling absolutely fabulous. Seriously, if the skies stay clear and the sun's faint rays don't die out... well, I could take on the world. Two steps and I'm at the very edge of the rock, a large overhang which shadows a steep, deadly drop. One wrong move and I could be dead. But I love high places, the pumping adrenaline that you feel from being on top of the world. So instead of moving cautiously back, like a more timid Kirian would do, I rear. Rear, pumping my forelegs higher and higher, and belt out a neigh - I may be in a foreign place, but who says I can't project my happiness over the forest? I don't care a fig if some rival stallion comes my way, I don't care if it starts to rain. Because I'm a conqueror today, and absolutely nothing can bring me down.

Siren

Regina; Siren would need to remember that. Knowing her past with not being good with names she was determined to step to a new beat and improve her memory. After reciting the name a few times in her head, Siren glanced to the side at the mare in question, "I'm Siren. Nice to meet you." The fact Regina admitted to being a loner as well calmed Siren considerably, she felt much more safe. Yet there was still an emptiness in her stomach, she was secretly wishing there was a herd so she could maybe become a part of it and feel complete once again. The abyss in her core was very hazy and Siren wasn't quite sure herself if she longed for a new herd.

Before the mare could respond to Regina's question about birds a piercing neigh broke the sky, sending the mother bird into the sky in a frenzy. The sudden noise also startled Siren and her ears flew up, she nearly gave way to her composure and jumped. The mares eyes scanned the horizon, but she couldn't make out the source of the sound. In reply she lifted her head and emitted a feminine neigh as well, one of her front hooves reaching off the ground as if she was trying to reach into the sky.

Regina She span around so fast she nearly tripped over her own feet. "What was that?" She asked. She swiveled her ears and listened for another sound to show where the sound before had come from. "I'm gonna go look for who mad that, you wanna come?" She asked. The naive 2 year old filly immediately began the search for the sound. She swiveled her ears attempting to catch anything that made the slightest noise.
