Personality

Devoted's personality isn't really common, but it doesn't stick out either. She is a rather shy-kept to herself mare that doesn't like when all of the attention is focused on her. She is also a calm mare, yet she doesn't show her emotions very well. Even though she is 1, Devoted isn't very talkative, so she doesn't come up to WMEs out of the blue. She would like you to show some interest in her, although it might take time. On first look, Devoted seems too shy to do anything, yet when you get to know her, you'll discover different things each time, one of them is her loving to explore. But even though she won't talk until someone had found interest in her, Devoted is used to being near someone, so she might stick with one equid for the rest of her life.

Siren

This place was new, Siren liked it here. She wandered in on accident. The mare was just exploring to satisfy her natural curiosity but now she found herself alone and in a new place. Despite feeling calm and loving the atmosphere something felt off. The smart thing to do would be run back to her herd, but she lost track of time while exploring and had not the slightest idea where she had gone. After moments of enjoying the serenity her mood altered to one of concern. "Hello?" She called out in vain, soft velvety ears pinned down to her skull. No answer.

Several painful days had passed, Siren being too oblivious to realize her mistake of staying. Now she was alone and lost. It was at the point of panic but she couldn't lose hope. Her herd had to be just over one of the mountains right? Well before the mare could run off to see a movement in the tall grass caught her attention. Hopefully it was another equid, and this optimism made her quick to turn and look. Then she saw it, the long cat-like tail swinging just above the grass. Yellow eyes peered out from between the clusters of plant life. Mountain lion. A shrill call escaped Siren and she spun on her hooves and darted off, hoping she could outrun it.

Regina

She had been watching the newly nesting birds in the tops above when she heard the shrill call of another equid. Her head shot up in half fear and half curiosity. Regina followed the sound until she was standing only half hidden by some scrubs at the top of a small, eight foot drop. She saw the beautiful long grass below her and looked around for the equid. A glimpse of grey and white caught her eye and her turned her head to see a scared mare a ways off in the swaying grass. She cocked her head very confused, wondering why she appeared to be so afraid. She swiveled her ears and snorted. Soon she saw the cougar's tail peaking out from the grass. She wanted to run however she wouldn't be able to live with herself if she had deserted the poor mare before her eyes. She called out to the mare and leaped down the drop. Her legs were shaky at the bottom but she straightened herself and called again out to the mare in hope they would both escape alive.

In a Nutshell; Kirian is a friendly, polite equid who can be very charming at times. He has a very relaxed appearance and is quite level-headed - he enjoys joking around with others, but can be sensible when needed and he knows where the boundary is between having fun and someone getting hurt. He often keeps his less-sensible friends out of trouble. His weakness is his size - if anyone vaguely dissaproves of him because of his height, or makes even the most offhand comment about it, he becomes deeply offended. His grand ambition is to make a large herd of his own one day.

His Past; Kirian left his birth herd at about 1 1/2 years old, to travel the world and meet new equids. He found solitary life quite lonely, and longed for a more permenant friendship with another equid rather than just a breif meeting. After wandering the mountains for about 18 months, he met Kataya, a young, lively 1-year-old filly, who was living as a loner with Laxius, a 4-year-old stallion. He stayed with them for a while, building up a strong bond with Kataya, and keeping the mischevious youngster out of trouble, while also joining in some of her wild escapades. But time went on, and both Kataya and Kirian grew older, and Kataya had a wish to explore while Kirian wanted to travel again, and fulfil his dream of creating his own herd. So they parted, hoping they would meet again. Since then, Kirian has travelled far and come across the Rocky Mountains, maybe a safe haven, but also just another passing place on his travels.
Relationship Status; Open - no mates or crushes. Kirian has a very alert, look-before-you-leap approach to relationships. He's not the sort to wildly jump into a relationship with naive dreams of happily ever afters, he prefers to take a step back and assess the situation before moving on. Kirian hasn't really had any serious relationships in the past, or really fallen in love - and no, that cute filly in his first herd doesn't count. Mares and fillies have come to like him in the past, but Kirian doesn't go into a relationship just because the other one loves him. He only makes any move when he's feeling the same. Most of the time his decisions are set on how to explain to the girl how he just wants to be friends, and doesn't want to be in a relationship. He isn't a flirty or silver-tongued type, but he does like to chat with the gals every now and again. He prefers friendship over relationship.

grumpy when she is rained on. She's not too fond of mud,
bugs, saliva, dung, dirty pelts, mares, humans, steep hills,
cold weather, hot weather, and on and on.

•••••••► Lyra has a very complicated personality.
She can quite easily be misunderstood, which is something
very good to know. And because of her youth, Lyra has not
had too many experiences, especially social experiences.
Which is why she has trouble communicating her feelings.
Upon communication problems, this gives her a bad
reputation and can cause her to look quite mean. She can
make rude gestures when she doesn't mean to, and usually
regrets it.
•••••••► Lyra, however, isn't mean really. She would never
harm anyone other than Falrore. (Whom she doesn't hate, just
gets annoyed with him.) She does get annoyed easily with mares
and stallions flirting with them. She's quite an attention seeker,
as if her fiery coat isn't attracting at all. At this, she can be bitter,
along with facing the rest of her dislikes. Which is why she's
misunderstood. Generally, she's quite a happy fellow, but her mood
is often destroyed.

Siren

Dirt and grass was turned up as Siren made haste at fleeing her pursuer, her hooves clipping the vegetation and topsoil as she pushed herself forward with strong limbs. Nothing would stop her but she foolishly turned to get a look at her attacker but instead saw another Wild Mountain Equid across the small valley. Siren tactically veered to her right, making a very wide arch so she could reach the WME who had called out to her. It was a risk approaching a stranger but the mountain lion could be right at her heels and she not even know it. The mare gave a return call, one of distress as she finally started to near the dark furred equid, seeing it another mare. Hopefully she was kind and might offer some help or plan of escape from the mountain lion prowling who knows where in the grass.
