Brightpaw bounded up to her mentor and new leader as they etered camp, "Cougarstar! You're back!" she smiled, "Did they let you become leader?"

Cougarstar smiled down at Brightpaw as she bounded over to him. "Yes, they did." He told her, glad that it atleast seemed like she was excited to see him.

Dawnblaze
Dawnblaze smiled down at her apprentice, approving of her reaction. She butted her head against Cougarstar reassuringly. "Go talk to them. Tell them you're the new leader. Don't forget you're going to have to choose a deputy." She said quietly, in a soothing voice.

Longstripe
Longstripe looked up from her spot near the warriors den as Cougarstar came into camp. She looked at the warriors around her uneasily. Will they accept him as their leader? And will he let us stay?, she wondered, her pelt prickling.

Firestrike
Firestrike got to his paws and exited the medicine den, looking for Oakclaw. "Oakclaw?" He called, looking around for his mate. He was feeling well enough to get up, and he couldn't stand being stuck in his nest in the medicine den.

"Don't worry" Brightpaw smiled to Cougarclaw, "Eventually the clans will accept you as their new leader. They just need to warm up to you a bit."

Both blizzardstar and Ivoryfog looked up. gazing at Cougarstar, would he say anything?

Cougarstar nodded to Dawnblaze and looked around the clans then walked over and jumped up where he had watched Witherstar call the clan to gather not long ago. He looked at the clans and cleared his throat "I have gone to Moonpool and received my nine lives as leader, and I shall choose or new deputy before moonhigh tonight. But first. Blizzardstar." He said and looked at the Shardclan leader and her clan. "Witherstar said that you and your clan could stay here with Phantomclan until you find a new home, and me taking over as leader will not change that." He told her.

Rainfur poked her head out of the nursery, her tail curled tight around her kits. She looked up as Cougarstar spoke, flicking her tail with a small smile. Well, if Starclan accepted him then she guessed she would to.

Snowstripe sat outside the medicine den, gazing up at Cougarstar, her tail curled neatly around her paws.

Lusa nosed her way out of the dog den, peering up at Cougarclaw, now Cougarstar. She gave a small sigh, looking down at her paws, still unsure about it.

Redfur flicked an ear as he looked at Cougarstar, flicking his tail as he listened.

Leafpelt heard the announcement and was very proud of her mate. He knew that he would choose a great deputy.

Dawnblaze
Dawnblaze motioned towards Brightpaw with her tail then headed towards the medicine den, sitting beside Snowstripe and curling her tail around her paws as she waited for him to choose a deputy.

Willowwind
Willowwind sat near the warrior den, her lip curling at the thought of Cougarclaw becoming Cougarstar. She doubted that he would make a good leader, and was surprised that StarClan had made him one. Still, she wasn't going to except him that easily. He would have to prove first that he would make a good leader. She suppressed a growl as she watched him call a clan meeting.

Skyleaf
Skyleaf flicked her ears Nd sat down, staring up at the leader. She was glad that he had become leader; perhaps others thought that he was a poor choice, and maybe some of their concerns made sense. But she believed that he could be a good leader, and would have regardless of what StarClan had decided. After all, he had shown himself time and time again while they were traveling. And besides, StarClan had accepted him. That had to mean something. Looking over at her sister, she knew that others would be feeling the same as Willowwind, and that Cougarstar's path would not be an easy one.

Heartpaw
Heartpaw looked over at Blazepaw. "Who do you think he's going to choose as deputy?" He asked quietly and under his breath. "I bet he's going to choose Cinderblaze. She's a good warrior, and although she's young she's not too young. Or maybe he'll choose Sageberry or someone else." He said, trying to guess who would be chosen even though, frankly, he had no idea.

(I kind of forget about those three characters :3 I guess I should keep rping them lol)
