He nodded, "Its over by the catnip. Want some of that to?" he asked, he loved catnip.

"You know the forest well for a kit, don't you?" Mistberry laughed. "Sure, we can get some catnip too, but make sure you don't eat all of it!"

"How did you know!" he mewed with a small smile, he raced around the corner and dived into the catnip. Eating more then he should have, then shook his pelt and grabbed a mouthful of tansy, the juice from the catnip stuck to his fur and claws.

"Silly kit!" Mistberry laughed. "I ought to punish you, but there is an abundance of catnip this season. I doubt the clan will notice the difference. Though you might have a stomachache for a while after eating all that!" She purred. "The tansy will really make you sick if you eat it though, so be careful. A cat should only eat tansy in moderation, and you should never give it to a queen expecting kits." She bent down, picking some tansy and catnip.

"Do you know what Tansy helps with, Pebblekit?" Mistberry asked, smiling.

"Oh, i know this one!" he mewed, "Is it for stomach aches?" he asked.

"Close. Chervil, Juniper berries, mallow leaves, and occasionally parsley under the right conditions will sooth bellyaches." Mistberry smiled, hoping she wasn't overwhelming Pebblekit. "Tansy is better for curing coughs. It is good to go ahead and catch coughs early before they turn to greencough, which can be deadly. Then you should use catnip. I've seen some cats use tansy for other things though. A Silverclan cat once told me she used it to cure wounds and poisons, though I don't know how well it worked. I've used it to help ease joints in the past when I have run out of daisy leaves. Ragwort leaves and juniper berries used together can help with joints too, so usually I just save tansy in case of coughs." She glanced down at Pebblekit and grew quiet, realizing she had probably just said too many things for any kit or warrior to take in at once.
