Redpool grabbed Flickersong's paw, then he looked at Moonshine then back at Flickersong. "I want to be with Flickersong now." He murmured quietly.

Flickersong looked at Redpool in amazement, stunned by his words. "B-but I shouldn't take the place of Moonshine. It was wrong of me to try to be with you. And your kits need their real mother, as much as I love them." She loved Redpool, but knew she needed to let that dream go. He had a mate, and kits... Flickersong shouldn't interfere.

Pricklestorm walked slowly to check on her kits, leaving Starkpaw behind. Does he even remember? All those times we were together?
