mantispaw bounced halfway to her mentor then stopped...she was with sharptooth.....again.

Pricklestorm fell asleep beside her kits.

Flickersong repetively licked Moonshine's kits. She murmered soft words, too quiet to be made out as anything but a comforting noise.

Spinekit tried to come up with a defense for himself. "I'm sure I could have!" He mewed in defience. "But I wasn't the one who managed to get himself washed away in a flood!..." He paused, suddenly reminded of Daisykit. "I'm sorry... I wasn't thinking." He murmered to Pollonkit.

"Well, I'm glad to have you back!" Sharptooth mewed. "You look strong... but I'm taking you to see the medicine cats anyways!"

Pollenkit relaxed, he was still upset but had to forgive Spinepaw.

Ashleap nodded and followed him back to camp.

Thistlespirit began to murmer a story aloud to herself, as she often did to spend her time, but the elder's den seemed too quiet without Shineheart's presence and Shadowheart's mews of annoyance. She looked sadly to Ferntail. "I guess it's just us, now..."

chestnutpelt brought pricklestorm a mouse.

Pricklestorm looked up and purred. She licked Chestnutpelt as he bent down to drop the mouse.

Willowkit looked up at her father, her eyes filled with curiosity. He light in the den shined on her golden-white fur.

(I just now realized- forestpaw needs a replacement mentor while Pricklestorm is nursing her kits. I guess Sharptooth could do it, as Rainpaw's still missing from the flood... )
