Pollenkit started to get thirsty. He walked a little ways more and spotted a puddle and sat down to drink from it. When he finished he sat up supprised to see his ragged, matted reflection in the puddle. "I should groom myself." he said outloud. He had started to get lonely and was talking outloud a lot. He walked a bit more untill he found a small hole under some tree roots and he grabbed some moss growing nearby placing it in the hole and lying down on it. "Goodnight Rosekit, Goodnight Daisykit." He said to a root "Mother can you groom me please?" He said and began to lick himself. "Thank you mother, Your welcome sweetheart." He called into the darkness.

aww... poor little kit!! I need to hug him...

(I know, he's going insane alone out there, it makes me want to stop roleplaying him and just make him with Cricketleg and Daisykit but it's so "fun" if you know what I mean.)


Falconpaw stood up "We would've been sitting vigil for Echowind and Daisykit tight now." He whispered sadly.

Ashleap sat beside her sister with her nose in Daisykit soft, cold fur.

Snugglefuzz sat beside them next to Cricketleg.

"I'm so sorry..." A voice called out behind Chestnutpelt. "I wish this had never happened. She was an amazing cat." Pricklestorm whispered, genuinely sorrowful. She had never even had the chance to see her kits be made apprentices. "I wish I had gotten the chance to know her better..."

Mistpaw felt pain in herself everywhere. Why had so many cats died? Was this really what Pearlclan wanted? Why did Pearlclan even warn them, if there was nothing they could do. Why wouldn't Pearlclan help?? Surely they weren't as helpless as Shineclan...

[slurm]

Deheart padded forward and as if he had read Mistpaw's thoughts he said "You know a lot more cats would have died if we hadn't been warn."

chestnutpelt sighed he was barely upset.she was so evil to him when he loved her.but where we're his adopted kits?only two were here.

forestkit nudged falconpaw." look up there "she said and white starry clouds were there.and cats with wings were watching them.

[slurm]

Falconpaw quitly gazed at the stars above and watched the starry cats. I know we are cared for and protected. He thought gratefully.

Ashleap heard a distant sound mewl and saw silver dust swirl up in the shape of a cat and then looked over. Daisykit stood up but left her body and was shining like the cat beside her. "Goodbye Ashleap." The words swirled into her head and the starry cats leaped into the sky and their silver trail faded away. "Goodbye..." Ashleap murmered as tears filled her eyes. She looked over and noticed Cricketleg crying and whispering goodbyes too "You saw her didn't you?" Ashleap whispered gently.

Mistpaw nodded. "I guess so.. I just feel so helpless."

"Chestnutpelt? Is someone missing?" Pricklestorm asked, watching his emotions. Suddenly she realized who was missing. "Oh no-"

Duskstreak ran up, interrupting Pricklestorm. "Has anyone seen Falconpaw or Forestkit? I can't seem to find them. I saw them earlier... I don't think they are on a patrol though."
