I padded out into the clearing, yet stopped right outside my den, plopping down at the entrance with a small purr. New apprentices are always a treat, and very special additions to the Clan. I curled my tail around my paws delicately, watching as the two former rogues, Noir and Twill, sulk together on the outskirts of the main clearing. The sight made me sigh sadly. The two had yet to trust everyone, seeing as they were half beaten to death when the patrols found them, lying together in a stream. That was the day I worked excessively to heal their many wounds. I was on pins and needles, attempting to save their broken forms. Shaking my head, I broke out of my thoughts and focused on the ceremony. I pasted on a hesitant, yet proud smile.

Splashpaw looked up at the leader and blinked, her ocean eyes gleaming with pride as she was about to receive her warrior name.
