Starnight stands up and shakes out her fur and then looks at Firepaw, "it's nice to meet you both by the way... I'm Starnight" she answers, trying her best to come out of her shell.

"Hello! How are you?" Firepaw asks at the same time as Longstripe says "I'm Longstripe. It's nice to meet you."

Starnight does a chuckle like sound, "nice to meet you both, I'm doing better, thanks to Damon kindly bringing me in" she says looking over at Damon.

Damon smiled and nodded "No thanks needed" he told Starnight

Suddenly a growling sound rumbles near by. Starnight stiffs and then shyly lowers her head and her ears, "sorry..." Her stomach growls again, "I guess that means I'm hungry.."

Damon stands up "Don't worry, i'll get you some food." he told Starnight and picked a squirrel off of the fresh-kill pile and walked back to her. He set it down in front of her "Here ya go." he said to her

Starnight smiles and licks her muzzle, she begins to reach for the squirrel with her mouth but then stops and looks at Damon, "are you sure it's ok? We haven't even found out what your leader wants to with me, much less met your leader..." She says worriedly. "What if I eat it and I'm not welcomed...?"

Damon shook his head "Don't worry about it, i'm sure you'll be welcomed and if there's a problem. I'll handle it." he told Starnight

Starnight nods, trying her best not to seem too happy by Damon's kindness. She leans head head forward and begins to slowly eat the squirrel, enjoying every bite that she consumed, "thank you, I haven't eaten since I found that scavenged deer a few days ago..."

"Well, if you stay here you can eat like this everyday." Damon smiled as he told Starnight
