"Hi there! I'm Blu. I used to be a fighting dog but I escaped! Here's what happened so far;...."
The air was cold and damp. My breath let out puffs of white into the air. My pads were frost bitten and numb. Yet, I had to move. It was kill or be killed here. Men yelling, sweaty hands clutching weird smelling green paper. I was being half dragged half led into a large room where cages were bundled together.
I know these cages. My master puts me in the top one usually. The floor was wiry, and it hurt my pads. My master did this so I would get angry, so I would fight. I was only about one or two years old and already I've fought in so many battles, boring so little scars.
I was a fierce fighter, only today I did not wish to focus on battle strategy. I wanted to focus on how to escape. My brother had lost the battle the night before and my master had tied him up and whipped him......To the death. I still hear his howls of pain and agony echoing in my thoughts.
I close my eyes and sigh, trying to remember a much better time. I find myself back in the time when I was a pup. I had not been born a fighting dog. No.
I had been born in a puppy mill, detached from my mother as soon as I could open my eyes and yap. Immediately I was bought by a little girl with yellow curls and a laughing face.
She was horrible. She would torture me. I'm not sure if she knew it, but one day she got me so mad that I nipped her. Just a little bit. I didn't even break the first layer of her skin.
Before I knew it I was thrown out of the house and into the hands of my master. There I was reunited with my brother, who you know died.
I wish I had never nipped the girl. I wish I had never had been bought by the girl. I wish I had never been detached from my mother so early. I wish I had never been born into this cruel world. There was only a couple of dogs here today. That was good. I could escape easily tonight...............
"HERE COMES THE BATTLE BETWEEN THE BLOOD SPRAYER AND THE MURDERER!!!!" Boomed the loud voice of a human on the loud speaker. The remaining dogs were taken away. I waited for the angry barking, howls and screams of agony to begin before starting my plan. I rocked the rusty cage back and forth until it fell, down to the ground.
I bit back a yelp of pain and got up. The cage had cracked open and I easily slipped out of my cage. I licked my bruised pads before continuing. I didn't have much time.
If my master caught me, I was dead. I broke into a run. I was approaching a human on guard. He gave a yelp of surprise as I leaped, pinning him down with my weight. Before he could grab me, I dashed off into the thick forest that lay ahead.
I hid in the bracken and watched as more and more humans started swarming around screeching their head off. I spotted my master- No, my old master shaking the guard wildly and howling.
I turn around and run. It was best to get as far away as possible. Soon I was lost, but safe. Exhausted, I curl up right there and fall asleep.
Sharp claws run down my shoulder. I leap up with a loud howl of pain that turned to outrage. A medium sized German Shepard mixed with...What? A grey hound stared right back at me.
I bristle, ready to fight. The fire in my eyes melted into shock and fear as more and more dogs emerge from the trees. I'll die fighting, I vow silently. "What's your name?" Snarled the first dog that had woke him up. I flatten my ears. I was NOT telling him.
"What is your name?!" The dog repeats, a little more harshly. A beautiful cream colored she dog with blue eyes pads up. "Don't be so harsh Growl! He's had just had a huge shock by just seeing us."
"Will you tell us your name?" She adds a little more gently to me. I nod slowly. "My name is...." My voice trails off. I had been given many names over the years...But which one was my first? Ah yes.
"My name is Blu. Call me Blu." I mutter. "I'm Daisy," Replies the she wolf. She circles Blu sniffing him cautiously. "You look more black than blue," She observes. Blu sighs. "That's because I've been through a lot."
Blu suddenly feels exhausted all over again as if he hadn't slept at all. "Where do you come from?" Snaps Growl. Blu lifts his head to meet his challenging stare evenly. "I come from the fighting cages,"
Gaps of shock and admiration ripple through the pack. Growl's eyes had soften a bit, his eyes having a hint of awe and respect. "You come from the fighting cages? No dog had ever made it out alive!" I look at my matted and blackened pelt, which used to be blueish and soft.
Blu was a nice German Shepard built dog with soft blueish fur. His green eyes never gave anything away, and he was usually admired by others.
"I'm barely alive as it is," Blu replies with a sigh. Daisy grins at him. "I like this dog. Can they join?" Growl grunts with surprise and steps a little bit back. "Now Daisy," He begins. "The pack is really full. We can barely feed our selves! And we haven't seen a drop of water in a week- Hey! Where are you going?!" Blu was stumbling through a thick bramble bush. "I'm going to the river!" He calls back to them.
"There is no river there!" Growl snarls, but he still follows. Blu lead them up a steep slope and deep into the bracken. The bracken parted to reveal a precious spring with nice bubbly water.
Blu padded forward with out hesitation and drank for a long time. He then scans the water. He suddenly plunges his muzzle in and emerged with a glittery sparkling fish flapping in his jaws.
He gazes at the shocked Growl, Daisy and pack for a while before settling down to eat. It was the best meal he had in moons. When he finished, he looked up to see Daisy watching him.
"Dogs don't fish," She woofs. "Cats do." The warmth that had been in her eyes earlier had vanished, replaced by icy coldness. Blu shrugs. "And people-dogs don't join packs," He shot back. Daisy's eyes widened.
"How did you know?!" "I can tell," Blu growls turning away. He wasn't going to forgive her that easily. He hears Daisy padding away, leaving sadness and disappointment with her fading scent. The pack had gathered around the water and were trying to fish when Growl approached Blu.
"You made Daisy upset," He states. Blu's reply was only a shrug. "She's my daughter you know," Growl continues. "And she seems to like you and wants you in the pack so.....If you want to join you may."
Blu looks up from the remains of the fish. "Sure," Growl smiles and for once Blu notices white hairs on the brown dog's muzzle. "But first, please teach my pack or me how to fish!" He nods to the pack.
Blu held back a burst of laughter as he saw that the entire pack had only managed to catch one scrawny fish by chasing it out of the water. He watches as the whole entire pack pounces on the scrap of meat at the same time.
"Deal," He agrees. "I teach you and you teach them." Growl nods and pads off to tell something to Daisy. She nods and glances at him warily.
Exhaustion falls over Blu and he dozes off once more...

"So, anyway this is going to be based on a book puddles is currently writing! Want a charrie of yours to be part og this book?! By all means go ahead!"
As Blu said, I m writing a book on this. If you do not want your charrie to be part of this, than don't join! Sorry if I'm being harsh, but that's about it. I'm going to RP Growl. (If you do not know who he is you have not read what Blu showed you). I need someone ACTIVE and RESPONSIBLE to RP Daisy. In the end, she ends up with Blu. I do not want any female dogs gushing over Blu. It's not happening, period. Daisy is not lovey-dovey. No. She's currently mad at Blu, but curious. She'll act cold around him but slowly start loosening up over time. That's what I want. Here are the ranks;
