Ashstorm meowed "Sure, I think I smell some over there" he flicked his tail toward a rabbit sized cave a little way down the mountain

nevermind) Whisperingbreeze shrugged, "We're all cats here, why not help each other?"

"that was the reason we are a clan." Leopardstar purred "but how do we know we can trust you?"

Watched the kit, she thought about it, how did this poor kit get abandoned here in the woods?

Nodded, and followed Ashstorm. Sniffing the air, this time with his eyes open. Flicking his ears to the soft sounds around them.

"Do you want to hear my history? I'll gladly tell you. And anyway, I'm all alone here, fending for myself. Doing pretty well if I do say so myself."

Ashstorm froze as a small Chinchilla slowly walked out of the hole. It looked around, but not up so it didn't see the cats. Ashstorm turned and nodded to Sandcloud telling him to get in front of it and chase it to him.

Leopardstar nodded and smiled "How did you get here?"

He nodded and slowly crouched infront of him and silently stalkked the Chincilla.

Whisperingbreeze shrugged. "Nothing much. I got seperated from the rest of my family in a storm except for my brother, a friend directed me to this 'amazing' place. I got caught up in a blizzard here where my older brother got killed by a snow leopard. Stayed here ever since."

Leopardstar smiled "Those do not sound like the happiest memories. You can stay with us." Her purr slowly turned into a low growl "But if you give us one reason not to trust you we'll show you some other larger stronger cats that may want you to 'help' them"
