Quartz tilted her head. "Of course I am! Why wouldn't I be." her eye twitched again.

Wonder "You changed!"

Quartz shook her head. "Don't be silly! Now if you excuse, I have to go."

Wonder watched, Quartz go. She looked at Little Pie "Did you see that or am I going insane?"

Little Pie shrugged. "She'll be okay."

He sighed, following behind the filly.

"Wouldn't learning how to bake be the first step to earning a cutie mark in it?"

I stopped at his words, scowling innocently. "But I don't need to learn," I finally said, after much deep thought, or, as much as a little pony like me could think. "I jist need to try, and see if I've got the knack of it!!"
Squealing, I ran to the cupboard and grabbed an instant cupcake packet. "'Et's mmmke 'uptates!"
I spat it out onto the counter, and tried to use my magic to get a bowl from the pantry, it levitated for a bit, then
the wimpy silver glow around it sparked and fizzed, then went out entirely, dropping the metal mixing bowl to the floor with a
loud clang.
I put on my innocent face and looked at Kol. "At least it didn't break," I giggled, cocking my head to the side.

Kol sighed, "Let me do it. With your luck, you'd cause the metal pan itself to combust into flames." He teases, with a small grin. The silvery-green glow covets the bowl, setting the bowl onto the counter; he then turned the focus of his magic to other ingredients, which his named down almost to a tee.

"..Flour, two cups.

Sugar, eight cups.

Cupcake mix... Three cups?" He peers at a sheet of paper, yellowed with age, and pulled out his rose-tinted reading glasses, "..Nay, four cups."

One after another ingredient poured into the pan. Which, after a fairly good mixing on his part, turned into the dark, gooey muck of deliciousness. Taking out the little paper cups and pushing them into the cupcake pans, but not before going over a bit of it with butter, to assure that it won't stick to the pan.

He fills the cupcakes up with the special mix, and slides them into the pre-heated oven.

Wonder "Why does she do that?"

[color=#40BF00]Shift made her way to Kols house, she figured it was time ti start making the food, and things were always better fresh. She knocked on the front door with a front hoof, saddlebags full of goodies./color]

The Stallion looks back, opening the door with his magic. He looked well kempt and well composed, as usual.

..All except for a large gunk of chocolate cake mix being spattered on his cheek.
