Akira licked him back, then instantly refocused back on the pups. She talked without looking away. "Winter said she found him abandoned in the forest. I have no idea how long he was out there, or where his mother is." Then she looked up. "I know you just layed down, but could you please go get Marrow and ask her to come look at him? He's extremely skinny and he might have caught something while he was out there."

Vitani pushed her nose against the strange pup, sniffing him. She made a jealus sound when she heard him start to nurse from HER mother.Who is he? He doesn't belong here! Then she felt him with her paw. He's so small! She sniffed again. He smells so weak. I guess i could share mother... for now anyways.

Night nodded and stood up. He padded toward Marrows den and called for her to follow him. He returned to the nursery with Marrow right behind him. "I see Vitani is doing fine but, who is this?" she nosed the male pup.

Akira looked up just long enough to reply. "Winter found him abandonded in the forest. The mother was nowhere to be found, and the pup was starving. Winter gave him to me." Then she went back to watching the pup, making sure his breathing and heart rate stayed the same. She distractedly leaned forward and licked Vitani, making sure she was alright too.

Vitani sqealed happily as her mother licked her.

Marrow scooted the male pup closer to her and examined him. She put a paw on his chest and pried his eyelid open carefully then let it shut. She nudged him closer to Akira. "He's fine, he just needs some nourishment."

Akira relaxed back into the nest, right after licking both of the pups. She looked up at Marrow. "Thank you."

Vitani snugled closer to her mother, and closer to the pup beside her, sensing he needed warmth. Yeah, i can share mother. He isn't too annoying.
(gotta get some sleep. Be back on later tomorrow.)

Marrow nodded. "You're welcome." She padded out of the den.
Night laid down beside the pups and licked them both then Akira.

Akira sighed. Then she looked at Night. "Night, he doesn't have a mother." She said, a pleading look in her eyes.

Vitani growled as the other wolf licked her. She crawled over the new pup, and attacked him as he was licking her mother, grabbing his muzzel between her paws and gnawing on his nose. Take that!
