Raven star peered her head over to the nusery. She watch as Jackalkit emerged from the nursery. Ravenstar's eyes filled with happyness as she watch the tiny kit. She smiled, the thought of kits made her happy and wished to have some of her own one day. She smiled at the Tiny kit. Jackalkit was the secound to emgere from a den and she smiled happily again. Ravenstar looked away and took a few deep breaths.

WindLeaf walked up to Jackelkit and smiled. She lowered her head a bit. "Hello there Jackelkit." WindLeaf said with a warm smile across her face. She flicked her ears. The sun shone down unto her fur. The morning sun... She thought. She purred as the sun grew brighter. She smiled. "And Good Morning." She said, looking back at Jackelkit.

The kit stared over at Ravenstar, watching her emerge from the leader's den. The kit liked Ravenstar. She had been nice to her and kind enough to allow her into the clan. She glanced at her a bit longer until another voiced startled her out of her thoughts, making her spin to see the she cat. "Oh..good morning Windleaf..", Jackalkit mewed, shuffling her paws.

Ravenstar tilited her head too take another look at Jackalkit. She noticed Windleaf talking to Jackalkit. Ravenstar sighed and approched the high rock. She jumped on top and thought it was time to awake the rest of her clan. She yowled and hoped everyone who was still sleeping herd and awoke from their sleep. Ravenstar sighed and gently gave her paw a few licks before jumping back off the high rock.

Wolfpaw jumped and hissed, thinking it was the camp getting attacked. He slowly stopped hissing and took a few deep breaths then sighed. "Just Ravenstar's call to wake everyone up." He mewed softly the yawned. He emered from the appertines den and saw the Windleaf and Jackelkit where also up first. He shrugged and padded over to Windleaf, hoping he wouldnt interurrpet her chat with Jackalkit. "Hello, Windleaf." He spoke, "Need you bedding changed?" He asked, sitting down.

WindLeaf smiled and looked at Wolfpaw. "How are you?" WindLeaf asked. Jackelkit was the only kit in the camp.. He should have a friend more his age.. WindLeaf thought. She had a secret place where kits roam.. Maybe she could find one and make some kitty-love around here. WindLeaf said and chuckled. She stood up. "Go to Ravenstar and greet her. I have to go somewhere." WindLeaf said and padded into the woods.

"Yes Windleaf.." Jackalkit's mew was barely noticeable as she watched the elder leave, glancing at Wolfpaw and nodding to him and beginning her walk towards High Rock. She tried her best to remember all the cat's names, running through them in her head as she walked or stumbled. She cursed her big paws under her breath and took a seat at the back of the gathering crowd, prefering not to get in the way.

Ravenstar waited and slowly yawned, shouing her yellow teeth. She sighed and waited for everyone. She studyed the clearing with just only two cats. She sniffed and slowly blinked. "Alright.." She murmurbled under her breath. "Do this, Ravenstar." She murmurbled again. "Alright fellow clan cats-" She mewed loudly when eveyone was at the high rock. "We all know we need a deputy to training for the deputys spot is open." She mewed. "The training begins to porve that one warrior is really ready to be deputy. He/She must porve their skills and loualty to the clan." She nodded to her clan.

Wolfpaw bounded over to the high rock, tripping over his small paws. He only turned appertince last moon. He was still small though. He yawned and bounced around. "Yay! Good luck!" He blurted out after the clan meeting. He sighed and bounded away after. He tripped again and chuckled at his small paws.

Jackalkit listened intently and her heart fluttered. She remembered that a 'deputy' was second in command for the clan, the next in line to be leader. She puffed out her fluffy white chest and stood up at the end of the meeting, "I wanna be Deputy some day...", she mumbled to herself. She turned and watched as Wolfpaw tripped on his own paws, cocking her head and stifling a bit of a giggle. At least she didn't seem to be the only clumsy one in the clan.
