1. Defend your Clan, even at the cost your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.

2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.

3. Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.

4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.

5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.

6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.

7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.

8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled.

9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.

10. A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.

11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.

12. No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.

13. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.

14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his/her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.

15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.

Warrior Ceremony

Apprentice Ceremony
Leader: (Kit), you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as (name of cat, ending with 'paw'). I ask StarClan to watch over you and guide you until you find in your paws the strength and courage of a warrior.

The leader calls up the warrior he/she has chosen as a mentor.

Leader: (Warrior), you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from (former mentor), and you have shown yourself to be fierce and brave. You will be the mentor of (apprentice), and I expect you to pass on all you know to (apprentice).

The mentor touches noses with the apprentice, and the Clan greets the new apprentice by calling out his/her name. After this, the apprentice will usually go greet their family, or go see to their mentor.

He/She makes the big decisions that lower ranks cannot. All leaders have the suffix "star", pronouncing them as leader. Whenever a deputy's leader dies, the deputy will meet starclan in a dream and receive his nine lives and his new name. Everyone looks up to the leader to make the right choices for the clan. It's a big risk.

The clan's second-in-command. The deputy is appointed by their leader and will become leader when his leader dies. They are in charge of organizing patrols and are the go-to cat for advice for the leader. They often fulfill the leader's duties when the leader cannot under whatever circumstance. Although they still have to attain to their regular duties of a warrior.

Medcine Cat :-:
The medicine cat is the cat who heals the wounded of the clan with their strong knowledge of herbs. Not only does the medicine cat heal the clan, it also has a strong bond with starclan. They are the ones who are sent prophecies, and signs. All medicine cats need to know how to read signs, for not all signs jump out at you. The medicine cat is forbidden to be in love or have kits. Tts the strict rule of starclan. When a medicine gives up his/her warrior training and ability to love, they become the clan's medicine cat. most cats go to the medicine cats for their wisdom and knowledge of starclan.

Warriors :-:
Are trained as apprentices in the arts of fighting and hunting. They are strictly bonded to the warrior code and are punished if not. they are the ones who fight and hunt for the clan. They are brave and noble and uphold the clan with protection and constant fresh-kill. An apprentice is made a warrior at about 12 moons. They are expected to defend the clan even at the cost of their life.

Apprentices :-:
An apprentice is pretty much a warrior in training. They are trained by their mentor. They are trained in hunting and combat. Most kits are made apprentices at the age of 6 moons and receive the suffix "paw". The apprentice's duties are to change the bedding and make sure that all the elders and queens have fresh kill constantly. They are not allowed to leave camp without a warrior. An acception goes to medicine cat apprentices. A punishment for apprentices is to be locked in camp for a numerous time period or to pick ticks out of the elder's pelts for numbers of days.

Queens :-:
Queens are she-cats either nursing or expecting kits. They move into the nursing until their kits are ready to be apprenticed, then they go back to their warrior duties. Sometimes some of the queens chose to stay in the nursery and keep their rank as queen and help out with the other queens with kits. They protect the nursing queens or provide milk if the birth-mother is dead or ill.

Kits :-:
The youngest and newest members of the clan. Kits are usually in the nursery until up about 6 moons when they become apprentices. A kit is always given a name with "kit" as the suffix. A kit is forbidden to step one paw out of camp without an experienced supervisor, also known as a warrior. Kits are usually always enthusiastic about becoming warriors, and often get into trouble that disrupts someones daily routines once they hit about 4 moons or so.
