Flashstar yawned and got up and stretched, licking his mate's head. She was still deep in sleep. He padded out, their were leaderly duties to preform. "Redfeather!" he called to the ginger she cat. "Assign the patrols."

"Of course," Bluemoon meowed, he crouched down, spotting a mouse he slowly crept forward and killed it swiftly. He flicked his tail, as if to say, 'your turn'

Ashpaw nodded and saw a dove nested on a low branch. Figuring hunting birds was different than mice, he crept up under it and sprang silently. By the time the dove noticed him it was too late. He snagged the bird's wing in his teeth and delivered a bight to the neck. "How was that?"

"Almost perfect!" Bluemoon purred, his apprentice was great. "Now try again, but this time make sure to keep your tail straight, and don't brush it on the ground."
