Dawn nickered at Lakota in greeting.

Amira began to graze in a small circle before she almost ran into Mika.

Lakota heard the greeting and trumpeted his own in return. His ears pointed in the mare's direction and his eyes glistening.

Mika laughed and gentle nipped at Amira's tail. She then turned on her hind hooves and dashed toward the pond. She zoomed past Kat and Sarge, bucking near them. She reached out toward Sarge's neck, her teeth almost touching his skin. She ducked out of the way and continued on her mad dash to the water. She threw in a few happy bucks that didn't show her most graceful side. She hoped they would make the others laugh and join her.
