Forrest sighed. How many new horses ahd he met today? he smiled politely anyway and watched the mare. "whats your name?" he aksed her calmly and flicekd his long dark brown tail. Buck stepped back and lwoered his head otwards the stream taking asip or two and then lifted his ehad again to glacne at the mare.

Layla she hesitated. so who are you guys? she asked, looking back and forth between the two

Forrest nodded as the mare introduced herself. Sighing he replied. "I'm FOrrest. This is Beauty, and thats Buck" he said pointing from Beauty to Buck. Buck smiled his black mane coming up over his brown eyes. Wow so many mares. he thought which made him think of Mia more.

Forrest allowed Layla to come clsoer if she wished and glanced at Beauty for a bit. He looked from Buck to Beauty finally getting a chance to answer her question. He flicekd an ear and glanced ath er as if to say, I don't know. Sometimes he's just like this. he hoped she would understand.

Beauty watched the new mare as she began to talk, "My name it Beauty. Its nice to meet you Layla" She gave Layla a warm smile to let the mare feel more comfortable. Beauty could ealsily tell that she was nervous. She truned to Forrest and Gave him a playful nip at his mane. Then she saw Forrest give her a looked that had answered her question earlier.

Forrest smiled knowing Beauty understood what he was trying ot tell her and lowered his head nudging her gently. This mare,Beauty wasn't all that bad after all. He glacned up again at the new mare, Layla and smiled allowing her to join in if she wished then watched Buck. He seemed so troubled. Forrest actually felt sad for him, although he didn't show it.

Once Forrest understood what she meant she looked at buck again. She felt a nudge and it had come from Forrest. She had the feeling that he was starting to like her, which made her very happy. She turned towards Layla, "Will you excuse me for a moment?" Beauty looked at Buck and Walked towards him, "Buck," she said, "I know your not feeling very good right now. How bout you tell me whats wrong, I promise I won't tell any on eif you don't want me to."

Buck looked at Beauty quietly. He looked so simple and had a somewhat plain look on his face. He smiled a little but his smile soon faded. "its...nothing..." he shrugged hesitating a bit. Looking at the paint mare he sighed shaking his neck and mane then looking from Forrest to Beauty.

"If you don't want to tell me, I guess thats fine. But would you rather us go now, so you can be alone for a little bit." Beauty looked back at Layla and the at Forrest. Her pools met with Buck as she waited for an honest response to leave hi maw.

Buck shook his head and sighed. "Ok. alright." he said plainly yet in a hard voice. He still felt uneasy and tryed to think of a good way to put it. Great. The one time he actually felt ofr someone, and nwo she was gone. He dazed off for a moment then snapped back into reality glancing at the mare in front of him. "Theres...there's uh..." he trailed off still trying to put it in a simple way.

storm troted over to ren and chuckled "well,i will admit,beauty's lively,but she minds her own,any other mare would have asked about are wounds." he neighed to her
