Nightstorm walked in "Yes, your kits are nearly as beautiful as you. I also would like to know their names." he told Leafdapple.

Eagletalon's ears lay back on his head, his claws slid out, and he hissed as Nightstorm was talking. Not wanting to start a fight, especially not in the nursery he turned around and left.

"What is his problem" Nightstorm said before turning back towards Leafdapple with shining eyes.

I look from Nightstorm to Eagletalon. I follow my mentor out not wanting anything else to do with Nightstorm but wanting to get to know the kits.

Eagletalon sat down trying to calm down and saw that Glacierpaw had followed him out. "You could have stayed with the kits, you know." he told her

"Thank you" Leafdapple said. "This one's name will be Brackenkit" she said, pointing her tail at the brown tabby tom. "This one will be Brightkit" she said pointing her tail at the brown and white she-cat. "And this one will be Smallkit she said, pointing her tail at the grey tabby she-cat.

"They are beautiful" Greenstar mewed.

"I don't think I really get along with him." I say sitting down next to him.

"Well, that makes two of us then. He seems to get along great with Leafdapple though." he said

"Me either." I say with a sigh. "I think I heard her kits names though." I say hoping to cheer him up a little.

"Oh, what were they?" He asked cheerfully.

"Brackenkit, Brightkit and Smallkit!" I say my goal complete. "What would you name kits if your mate ever had them, not saying you have a mate. It's just what you'd want to call kits." I say realizing what it may have sounded like.
