Brokenheart padded up to Snowfeather. "But how?" she whispered, looking at him with grief in her eyes. "Will she just slowly die?"

Brokenheart looked sadly at the kits with their mother. "I-I can nurse them... if she does die..."

Blackwater perked his ears as he heard their conversation. He had never heard of a queen dying from a stomach ache. He padded over to them silently.

I grabbed a mouse from the fresh kill pile then walked to medicine cat den I poked my head in "I brought a mouse if she needs one". I said trying to treat the queen normal.
