Smokestripe blinked his eyes, then he stepped out of the way so Ambergaze could get out.

Ambergaze padded out, while Violethaze padded in. "How'd it go?" She asked, concerned.

Maneclaw shook his pelt and continued on his way, smelling the air as he walked.

Fireclaw spotted the vole and pounced on it, killing it.

Smokestripe looked at Violethaze, and Frozenstar flicked his ears, having watched the whole thing. "It went good, and bad a bit."

Maneclaw stopped when he scented a mouse. He crept closer and stopped when he saw it, sniffing around a leaf. He took another careful step and then rushed out, paws reaching for it. He stopped and looked down at the prey in his paws.

"Let me guess- Smokestripe handled it?" She narrowed her eyes at Frozenstar's brother.
Ambergaze lay in the shade, hiding. She watched her kits play with Fallen and call her mommy.

"Yeah...sorta." Frozenstar meowed.

Smokestripe looked at Violethaze, and he growled.

Snowstorm spotted the mouse a few tail-lengths in front of her. She dropped into a hunting crouch and tried to keep downwind. She pounced for it but it scurried out from underneath her. "Mousedung" she spat sitting up.

Violethaze sighed. "Smokestripe- may I speak with you in private?" She motioned outside, behind the leaders den.

Fireclaw buried the vole and tasted the air, catching the scent of a squirrel.

Frozenstar looked at the two cats, confused, but it didn't show on his face.

"Alright." Smokestripe meowed, and his tail twitched.
