Seawing let out a chilling wail as the first kit tumbled out onto the soft moss. It was a little light brown tabby with a white underbelly and chest. (Sort of like Leafpool...). Another spasm rippled through her body.

Snakefang sighed in annoyance, it was difinately Softgaze... Or Seawing...

Cherrypaw smiled and pressed her paws lightly on the queens belly "I'm not sure how many are left maybe one or two" she murmured "Be right back" she said and raced out of the den running into the medicine cat den Borage borage where is it? What does it look like? she thought looking through the herbs then a voice spoke in the back of her head the leaves are hairy and have a strange scent the opposite of cat mint Cherrypaw nodded and instantly knew which leaves to grab when she had four lightly held in her mouth she raced back to the nursery laying the medicine down by Seawing's nest "Okay" she said lightly.

Yet another spasm rippled down Seawing's lithe body and she let out another cry of pain. Another small kit toppled out, this one was a little silver tabby.

After a few minutes there were three kits lying next to Seawing's belly, a little light brown one, a silver tabby and one that looked identical to Seawing.

Snakefang heard no more cries of pain from the nusery, so he ran in to see three little kits lying next to Seawing. He purred in pride.

Cherrypaw purred "They are beautiful" she said lightly and pushed the leaves towards Seawing "Please eat these they will help your milk come faster I think" she said curiosity flashing in her eyes for a moment then gone "So what are you going to name them?" she asked.

Seawing whispered, her voice shaking, "It's not over yet... Cherrypaw... I'm not going to make it... Snakefang... Take good care of our kits... I love you." Seawing's eyes closed and she fell back into darkness.

Snakefang wailed, "No! Seawing! No! Help her Cherrypaw!"

Cherrypaw froze she saw cats gather around Seawing they had stars in their fur and eyes the scent of RedClan,BirchClan, and the wind mixed together around them she saw them touch their noses to Seawing's fur "I,i,i" she stuttered her paws wouldn't move.

Seawing stood in the nursery, watching Snakefang.
"Snakefang." She murmured. The tom looked up in surprise. Seawing's mother, Silverwing was standing next to her. He gasped. Seawing put her tail around his mouth to shut him up, "I will always be watching over you." she murmured. Before vanishing with her mother.

Snakefang watched Seawing disappear. He looked down at the kits, then looked at Cherrypaw.
"Softgaze will have to look after them." then he looked at the kits. He touched his tail to the silver tabby, "Her name will be Eclipsekit." he touched the brown tabby, "Leafkit." And the last kit, the one that looked like Seawing was named Seakit. They were all she-kits.
