Rayne started searching for any signs or prey, big or small. She padded with extra caution to the river because were there was water there would be prey. She crouched in bush and waited patiently for prey that would come for water.
Waiting had made Rayne drowsy so she didn't become alert when she heard the sounds of a medium sized animal walking close to her hiding spot. But the sounds of the animal stepping into the water woke her up, she almost started salivating at the sight of a doe drinking thirstily from the creek. Still she waited until the doe had drunk her fill before launching out of the bush and biting deep into the does shoulder before the doe could even react.
-One fight later-
Rayne panted as she stood near the does body, exhausted from the tussle she sat down and tilted her head back to howl to the pack that she had caught a deer.
