The return to Pride Rock {CLOSED}

Maria growled, batting saka away with a paw, her claws retracted so as to not cut him. She may be pissed, but she would never lay a claw on a cub. Ever. "Go, run home to your mother little prince." she hissed, racing after mika.

Rudo roared angrily as maria shoved the smaller cub back "Leave my brother alone you-!" he stoped in the middle of the roar, as maria raced away, he noted her abnormal mane like fur. He raced over to Saka "Are you ok??" he asked, hovering over his brother, ready to run back for there parents. though he wanted to rip the shadow lion apart, he knew he wasnt a match for her...and he needed to figure out why the other lioness reminded him of someone....

Zira growled "Zayna, you forget your sister was trained much like yourself. She'll put up quite a fight, which is why i didnt just send maria." She explained, her voice holding a sort of bitter pride.

((Saka had darted after Mika... he was no where near Kamaria. XD ))

Saka hissed and spat as he gave chase for a few seconds. He couldn't keep up with the two lionesses. It was as if the extra weight on the darker lioness wasn't even there... She'd ran so fast...
Saka shook his head in anger and disbelief. "Who where they and why did they come after Vitani?" He muttered before turning around. His gaze fell on his brother for a second before he started walking again. "I'm fine. But we have something more important to worry about." He replied and started walking towards Priderock. He couldn't run yet... not right now. The poor cub was entirely too winded to even attempt a full run right now. He'd stumble over his paws and tail and end up hurting himself more; and he knew it. Until he caught his breath, he'd walk... even though there was a unbelievable sense of urgency he needed to take care of.

zayna looked up at her mother for a second as she spoke. "I'm not stupid mother. I know she'll put up a fight, and a good one at that. But Lalamika is one of the best fighters here in the pride, along side Kamaria the two of them should have been able to take her out quickly... unless something went wrong." She replied as her gaze shifted to the boarder. "Kamaria is good at fighting. Lalamika has honed in her tact. The two of them together are no match for even the best trained lion or lioness. This should have been dealt with already." She mentally snarled.
Her lime green eyes lingered on the boarder between the lands. Her tail flicked silently behind her as two figures could be seen approaching.

Lalamika ran the rest of the way in silence. The more distance she put between Kamaria and herself the better. Instead of darting directly into the Outlands, Lalamika veered off course into a neighboring land that had been empty for centuries. "If they follow our scent, at least it won't lead them directly to the Outlands..." She mentally said as she ran. She smiled slightly as her gaze fell on a small river. It was drying up, but it still had enough water in it for them to temporarily loose their scent. "This way." she called back and slowed as she reached the water. She paced around in it, being sure to splash Vitani as well, before picking up speed again and heading to the Outlands.
Once her paws stepped into the Outlands, Mika made her way directly to Zira. "Here's your daughter." She growled and dropped Vitani at Zira's feet. With that Mika began to walk away. She was in no mood to deal with anyone at that point in time... not even Kamaria could have made her stay there in front of Zira at that point in time.

Sorran finally caught up with them , he hadn't bothered to run he knew they wouldn't be able to do anything at the time. Almost smiling he nodded to them ,"Well you know , I am a pretty good tracker , I could , well follow them and you could follow my scent once you get other lions.", he offered sitting down. Inside he was pretty scared though , the only question going through his head was if those were the lions who had taken his brother.

"No. We stay together." Saka hissed and continued running. He ran the rest of the way in silence. "Mother, father!" He called as he neared pride rock. The urgency in his tone was nearly tangible as he waited for them to come.

(hm..i thought He stoped when mika jumped over him, sorry ^^')

Rudo stayed next to his brother, stoping by pride rock to lift his head up slightly, he had already seen his mother on the tip of pride rock. "DAD!" he roared, looking around for Kovu, his voice laced with anger and worry.

Kiara stood, loking down at her sons and sorran "Whats wrong Saka?" she called, looking across the pridelands, seeing her mat quite a ways out. THe urgency in her more serious son's voice worried her, but the tone in her other son's voice scared her more, seeing as Rudo rarely took a serious tone unless he was angry or something was wrong.

Zira noded "Thank you Lalamika." she said, the stoped, shaking her head Wow being nice to suri is changeing me more than i thought...ill have to fix that She growled slightly as she ntoiced suri getting closer to Vitani "Suri..." she meowed warningly

Suri Flicked her ears at her mother, showing she heard, but paded a half step forward, sniffing her sister lightly "Vitani?" she asked softly, only to ensure that she wasnt dead...well not yet. "Mika what did you do-" she cut off as mika walked away.

Maria snarled, pacing back and forth in the stream. "Who cares if i get caught? Simba will just kill me like he did my brother, then at least i could be with him agian" She snarled softly to herself, settling down in the trickling water, letting her mind run over what vitani had said. she lowered her muzzle, lapping water out of the stream, before rolling over in it, then padding out on the pride land side, licking herself clean, washing away the scents of her pride. She settled on a rock to dry off in the sun, closing her eyes in mock sleep.

"Oh shove it Zira!" Mika mentally snarled as she walked away. She stopped once to look at Suri. "I brought her back. Just as I was told." she replied to the cub. Her words were short and clipped as she disappeared into the termite mound.

"Lioness took Vitani!" Saka replied. His small body shook with rage and worry. In the back of his mind he wondered who the lionesses were and why they'd taken his aunt. But that was pushed aside. All that he wanted now was to get his aunt back... he couldn't stand the thought of losing another family member. His tail lashed around behind him ashe silently stood there waiting for Kiara's reply.

Zayna looked at Vitani. "She's not dead... yet..." Zayna said in a mock comforting tone to her sister. Her eyes shifted from Vitani to her sister and back to her mother. Silently she waited fr the next order... or for training. One of the two.

Suri growled "Mother, you WILL let her speak for herself." she growled, cutting her mother off before she could reply to zayna "For all you know, shes been spying on them, obviously shes been more sucessfull than our brother." she continued, taping her sister (Zayna) lightly with her tail in warning to be quiet. It wasnt offten someone challanged Zira, let alone Suri. If Zayna wasing going to agree, then she shouldnt speak.

Zria growled deep in her throught as her 'daughter' cut her off, but then she narrowed her eyes as she explained "Its posible...betraying me would have earned her points with the trator pride..hmm." zira smiled evily "Your a very smart cub Surina." she meowed, her voice sliping into the same tone she had used with kovu (think back to when kovu had his 'bright idea...same thing aplys here) "Zayna, Ask LalaMika where Maria is, your past due for your training." she ordered "Suri, you and lucas can go outside, And if your up for it lucas, you may join therre training session, though, you already seem quite strong." she moewed, prasie lightening her tone slightly.

Kiara Roared, turning and running down to the bottom of pride rock "Where?" she asked, her mussles bunched in rage "And what did she look like?" Kiara growled (Time crunch, ill finish this here)

"There were two of them. One was darker than the other. She was mostly black, not even the dirt on her pelt lightened the color. Her build was different... she was longer like Nova but she stood taller than all the lionesses I've seen. She has a dorsal streak that is a dark grey. She also has a tuft a bit longer than aunt Vitani's." Saka began. He had only seen the lioness for a few fleeting seconds, so he tried his best to remember all he could about her. "She was also blind in her left eye. I could tell by how the sun reflected off of it and the swash mark that led from her upper eye lid to the bottom one." He finished describing the lioness. He the paused for a second and went to describing the second lioness. "The second is a darker brown with a black tuft that runs more down her back... she kind of looks like an adolescent male..." Saka finished, clearly confused by the lioness's tuft.

Zayna swatted at her sister's tail. "If Vitani was 'the good cub'... then why bother pretending to betray Zira? It makes no sence at all... like most of this pride. Once I am queen so many of them will be taken care of..." Zayna mentally growled as she rose from her sitting position to standing on her paws.
Once she'd heard her mother's order she padded off into the termite mound without waiting for the others.

Lalamika lied against a far wall of the "sleeping" section of the den. As she heard paw steps coming close to her, she let out a long hiss.
"Don't hiss at me Lalamika."
The voice was Zayna's... oh how she wanted to knock some sence into that cub... But she rose to her feet and took one warning swipe at the cub.
"Where is Kamaria."
Zayna didn't phrase it like a question but Mika answered anyway. "Wouldn't know. It's not my day to baby-sit her." She replied with a low hiss.
"Well go find her. the two of you are to begin training us for the day."
"Cub... I'll give you five seconds to get the h*ll away from me before I send you crying to Zira." She mentally hissed before taking a step towards Zayna, who didn't flinch in the slightest. "If you or Zira wants Kamaria, then YOU go fetch her. I'm done running errands for you AND your mother." She hissed and batted the cub out of her way.
In retaliation Zayna clamped down on Lalamika's tail. "You WILL NOT talk to me like that?!?" She snarled as she let go of Mika's tail and swiped a claws across Mika's hind leg.
Lalamika let out a low threatening growl before turning around and pouncing on Zayna. She snarled as she picked Zayna up and shook her. "You WILL learn some respect little girl! You are NOT a queen. Zira said she made you her chosen one ONE time, but has clearly not decided whether she wants YOU OR YOUR SISTER to be her heir. So don't start pulling the 'holier than thou' bullsh*t on me. I am OLDER than YOU, I am STRONGER than you and I am more KNOWLEDGEABLE THAN YOU!" She growled and spat after dropping Zayna and proceeding to bat her around. "You came for your training, so here it is." She added, still batting the cub around. "Make it though this fight. That is you task right now." She spat.

Zayna fought back... but her movements, though quick and well practiced, were nothing compared to Lalamika. As for Lalamika, she kept her swipes quick and small so she didn't injure the cub too much... but a claw broke the skin here and there due to Zayna's ill-timed movement.
The young cub hissed and spat at the lioness and continued to fight back, even though the odds were SEVERELY against her.

Vitani began to stir... Her head was killing her, causing her vision to blur and shift as she opened her eyes. Once everything was in focus she jumped to her feet. Her gaze shifted around for only a second before landing on Zira. "Mother." Was all she could manage to say. She looked at Zira though her open eye... the other that Mika had slashed, was currently glued shut with blood.

Zira nodded once "Yes vitani. The same one you watched fall to her death." She meowed, her voice hardening, but not quite as much as it had in the past. She steped forward, sniffing her daughter lightly "why so much Fear my dear? after all, your back home." she murmured, her voice lightening up, losing all malice..for a moment, she was a mother who's lost cub had returned to her. She wraped a paw around her daughter Pulling her into a hug and draging her tounge over vitani's bloody eye lightly, almost sweetly.

(say all you want about this being anti-Zira, but you must remember, she IS still a mother. Furthermore, she is a mother whose done wrong by her cub, yet her cub has returned to her. Who knows, maybe she just said things in the heat of the battle.. in the moment she was about to get everything she ever wanted...well, she may have said things she didnt mean.)

Suri Sighed, having been waiting outside. "Ughhh Zaynnnaaa." she groaned, becoming bored waiting. "Lucas wait here." She grumbled, standing and slipping into the back of the den, directly into the sleeping quarters "Zayna whats taking yous so-" she growled out to her sister before seeing what what going on "MIKA STOP!" she roared, running forward "You'll kill her!" she growled, leaping at Lalamika. It was a good thing she had a running start, or she never would have made it anywhere near her target. Mika's head being slightly down helped. She landed lopsided on mikas neck, most of her body on mika's head. She dug her claws in as deep as she could to prevent being thrown off imidiatly, but if Mika shook to hard, she would go flying. She whiped her tail wildly, tryng to regain her ballance. All she wanted was Zayna left alone, even if she had to replace her.

Kiara growled "Are you sure they where both lionesses then?" she asked saka, waving her tail for rue to come down. She looked over at Rudo, Who meowed somthing about finding Kovu and ran off "RUDO!" she called

Rudo stoped and turned "YEA MOM?" he called, still padding towards his father scent.

"COME BACK HERE!" She roared, torn between going after Rudo and hearing saka's awnser

"NO, I HAVE TO FIND KIRA AND DAD!" he roared back "I CAN ALREADY SMELL DAD!" he called, and took off

Kiara's blood ran cold "you havent found kira and the others yet??" she meowed tensly to Saka.

((As we all know Zira is bipolar... so Vitani's mind could change at any time... I'm simply going with how her personality evolved in the movie and -attempting- to expand on it.... not sure how well I was doing with that though. XD ))

Vitani's body trembled for only a second. "I don't know the meaning of fear..." She replied with a half smile. Zira's voice unnerved her slightly... but only because she was not used to the kinder tone. Quickly she shook it off. She remained looking at Zira for another second before leaning into the hug for a second before pulling away and looking over her mother once more. "How did you survive?" She asked... she'd had the gut feeling Zira didn't dye... but this was still quite shocking to say the least.

"Yes. Both of them were lionesses. I'm sure of it. And by the sound of it all, Vitani knew one of them... for sure... and possibly knew of the other." Saka replied and looked down at his paws. His brow furrowed as he thought about the shadow colored lioness. "The Shadow... the Demon..." He muttered as he looked back up at his mom. "Mother... She couldn't be... could she? She fits the description of the lioness we'd heard about roaming the lands shortly after my eyes opened..." He muttered before his mother's question silenced him and made him look down again. "No... Chase, Nova, Cyrene and Kira are all missing... I haven't even found their scents yet." He sighed.

Zayna continued trying to dodge Lalamika's hits, but ended up catching pretty much every other swipe. she hissed and spat as she jumped around. Her body began to tremble from exhaustion. She didn't speak a word until Suri attempted to make Lalamika stop. "Don't get in the way." She hissed and jumped out of the way of another one of the elder lioness's slashes.

Lalamika silently swiped and slashed at Zayna. The cub was stubborn, she'd give her that. Just before Suri came in, Lalamika's claw made contact with Zayna's right eye. All but the middle claw on Lalamika's paw grazed the cub's face... the middle claw on the other hand opened the flesh that ran from the cub's eyebrow to a bit below her tear duct. The blow caused the cub to stumble backwards and shake her head furiously.
Lalamka looked at the cub and growled when Zayna darted for her again. "You just don't learn, do you?" She spat and swatted at the cub again. It was just then that Suri jumped and landed on her head.
"Get. Off. Me." Lalamika hissed and moved her head downward so she to use her paw to swipe Suri off. In a motion much like a domesticated feline cleaning itself, Mika had Suri on the ground in front of her. "Do you really THINK I was going toKILL her?!?" She hissed as she glared down at Suri. "I'm not THAT stupid. This was simply part of her training." She growled. Her only good eye glared down at Suri, the color seemed colder than usual... the only emotion held within it was anger... and that anger was almost a visible fire within her eye.
(And this is how Zayna get's her scare.)
