The return to Pride Rock {CLOSED}

Vitani shook her head. "What kind of lies has mother been feeding you all?" She wanted to asked but chose to keep the thought to herself. "They didn't kill Nuka, nor did they try to fill her." She began and looked around. "If you want to know the whole story, follow me." She added before she headed into the trees.

Before Vi could get far, Mika cut her off and snarled. "You're not going ANYWHERE." She snarled and lowered to pounce on the older lioness. "You abandoned her the least you could do is giver her a reason as to WHY when she asks."
"I didn't abandon her!" Vitani snarled back in atone that was just as fierce as Mika's current one. "And I will explain everything. As soon as we are out from under the radar." She added after a second to allow her to cool down.

Mika snarled again. Her gaze looked past Vitani at Maria. Desperately she wanted to attack Vitani, but the feeling of overpowering another wasn't worth what she might lose.

Vitani noticed Mika hesitation and moved past her. Silently she moved out of the small half circle of trees and started to walk down hill. She stopped for only a second as she came to a large opening in the side of the hill. She didn't look to see if Marai had followed her. Her gut told her that if the younger lioness wanted to know the truth, she'd follow and that was that.

"Because I don't boast about my skills." Saka laughed. "Besides, the only one who has come close to getting the best of you is Nova." He snickered. He'd always found it funny how the smallest cub was one of the most skilled... though she rarely trained with others.

Maria flicked her tail at mika, inviting her to follow. SHe slipped into the cave, looking over at kat, who was till in vitani's hare "Katana get over here." SHe growled at the bird.
Kat nodded, flying out of Vitani's har and settling on top of Maria's head "SOrry dear."
Maria sighed "Its fine." She growled, still crying slightly. She waitied to see if mika would come in, ready to colapse into her friend...though maybe a better word would be Crush.

Rudo Scoffed "Thats cause your skills are knowing how many antalope thee are in the pridelands at any given time!" he teased playfully, for he was actually envious of his brothers knowlage of the pridelands. (Equivalant to book smarts id guess.) (Wb)

"Thirty two fully grown, four on the way and five recently born." Saka said in a matter-of-fact tone. "At least that was it last time I counted." He added. "Besides the fact, that's not my only skill." He finished in mock sadness. "Much like your only skills are teasing me, flirting with other cubs and goofing off." he teased back and gave his brother a small shove. Truth be told, Saka had always had trouble making friends due to the fact that he was almost always off somewhere "studying" how things worked and such.

Mika said nothing. She simply followed behind Maria. Her tail irritatedly swayed behind her with each step. Once inside the rocky chamber she lied again one of the cool rocky walks. Her eyes shifted between Vitani, Kat and Mairai.

"As I said, Simba and Kovu didn't kill Nuka." Vitani began as she sat at the far wall of the little cave. "I was too foolish to see it then... bit it was Nuka's own stupidity that got him killed. The logs he climbed were unstable and when one moved, they all came crashing down." She began with a shake of her head. "The night of the battle, I asked Zira about you and Kimba. She said the two of you wondered off and found someone to take care of you. Someone who was willing to watch over two adolescent cubs." She continued. "During the battle, I realized how stupid the whole thing was. And when Kiara spoke, I realized the only two where do doing the RIGHT thing, were Kiara and Kovu. I'd grown tired of fighting. Even more so after i couldn't figure out WHY we were fighting." As she spoke her eyes never left Maria. her voice wasn't shaky at all as she recalled the past. "Mother ordered me to attack them, but I refused and agreed with them. Enough was enough. Mother didn't like that. I still remember her words list it all happened moments ago. 'If you will not fight. Then you will dye as well". She was going to attack and kill me... at least until the others moved to our sides. Then she lunged at Kovu. Before I could get between them, Kiara had already jumped in the way. The two of them tumbled over a cliff. At which time the dam broke and the river spilled back into place. Kiara tried to help Zira. But Zira swiped at Kiara's out stretched paw and ended up loosing her grip." She finished the story with a shake of her head. "Do you see now? I never abandoned you. No one killed Nuka or tried to kill Zira." She finished with a shake of her head.

Sorran watched them as they talked before smiling lightly. "Actually if it wouldn't be to much to ask , I'd be delighted in coming.", he mewed stepping forward so he could be seen easily.

Rue ducked her head , not wanting to discuse it anymore. She sighed tears forming in her eyes. "He was a boy , dusty brown with a gray mane growing, he has bright blue eyes.", she sat down finally ,but didn't move any closer. "His name is lucas , he's a bit smaller than Sorran , but older than him by a few days.", she finished letting the conversation drop. Feeling uncomfortable now with no noise drifting around she asked ,"What else do you need to know?"

Just to let you know where everyone is:
Zira/Zayna/Lucas/Suri= sitting near the termite mound talking.
Xara= walking around the outlands looking for Koda.
Enzi= Sitting inside the termite mound.
Chase/Kira/Nova/Cyrene= walking back to the pridelands from sneaking into the marsh section of the Outlands.
Kovu= being he hasn't been played this whole time, he is still sleeping in the den.
Kiara/Rue= Sitting at the end of the peek of Pride Rock talking.
Sorran= Sitting towards the den of Pride Rock.
Saka/Rudo= Walking away from Pride Rock looking for the other cubs.
Vitani/Lalamika/Kamaria= gathered near the border between the two lands on the Pride Lands side talking.

Kovu yawned and streatched, he got up and went outside and sat at the tip of Pride rock. "I wonder how everyone is today?" He asked himself aloud and padded around the rock, looking for his mate.

Sheela was asleep in the den, Timba usually acted as her big brother, Timba nudged her. "Hey, you wanna go out hunting sis?" he asked. "Timba, what time is it?" She groaned. "Hmm, good question, it's get up time sis." He said and rolled her out of the den. "EEP!" Sheela yelped and got up.

Timba giggled and shoved her out to the hunting grounds. Sheela wasn't happy with this. Timba was having fun as he tryed to get Sheela to do something. Sheela didn't gain her tolerence for her "Big brother" yet and took a paw and slapped him. Timba rubbed his face. "Owch..." He groaned.

Sheela smirked at her actions. "I haven't gained my tolerence for you, yet... So stop your hyperness!" Sheela growled and bit at the scar on her side. She licked at her nose and plopped down into the dirt, trying to ignore Timba. Timba didn't really like this and went hunting on his own, deciding it best to not annoy Sheela anymore than he had.

Maria layed aginst Mika, her eyes narrowed to slits. Her brain worked quickly, sorting out the information, and fitting it to hers. basicly, the two where the same, just who was good and bad where changed. Maria stood, steping forwart towards vitani "If all this is true...Why did you come back to the outlands?" she asked softly, her tail wraping around the air, a habit from when she would wrap her tail around kimba's shoulders.

(XD i figured you'd like a bit more detail on kimba so...here he is...minus the proper mane, of which his is black, goes from his head to the middle of his back, much like his sisters (Note: mane may end up being white, i havent finished the full designs yet.

Kiara noded "how long has it been sence he went missing?" she asked softly. Her mind working slugishly as she tryed to shove off her daughters disapearace and focus on the new cubs, but regardless she found slight similaritys between her daughter and the new missing cub. Namely the age. sorran seemed to be a bit younger than her cubs, but still it was erily close.

Rudo Laughed, his body shaking much like his great grandfathers, "I have no idea how you know that." he moewd, still laughing. "Oh saka, you know we both have more skills than that." he teased, then turned to sorran, noding at the cub. He looked back at rudo "So...your not thinking of including him in the thing at the place are you???" he wispered into Saka's ear, so only saka could hear.
(assume saka knows EXACTLY what hes talking about XD)

"I came back this morning because another cub has gone missing... which totals two cubs... not to mention the rumors I've received that had been floating around about more cubs going missing. Two boys. Two girls." Vitani began. She rose her head to look at Maria squarely in the the eyes. "The first cubs that went missing was Kiara's first born daughter. The spitting image of Kovu. The second is a cub by the name of Lucas. I've never seen him personally, but from what I gather he's a dusty brown with the startings of a grey mane and blue eyes. He's close to the same age as Kiara's cubs, yet a bit small for his age." She continued. Her intention of explaining what the two look like was a hope to get some sort of reaction out of Kamaria and or Lalamika if they knew two cubs that fit the descriptions.
Her bright blue eyes slipped over Lalamika, who didn't show the slightest reaction to the descriptions, and lingered back on Kamaria. "Since mother fell into the river, I had a feeling she didn't dye. And when Kiara's cub went missing; that feeling didn't go away. So I decided to see if perhaps that two cubs would be found in the Outlands." She finished. She didn't expect Kamaria to believe her... the story seemed crazy.... but it was the truth. And that was that.... it was now up to Kamaria to accept or deny it.

Saka laughed slightly at his brother's "we have more skills than that" comment. Silently he rolled his eyes at his brother's whispering. "Of course. Think about it. It evens out our odds." He replied. He laughed slightly again, his tail swishing around behind him even though he'd stopped moving.

Rudo growled softly "He's not THAT good...besides, do you think we can trust him to not say anything??." Rudo whispered, his breath running over his brothers ear fur, which generally tickled or annoyed him...but mostly both.

(they meet with the pridelands best kept secret every night.)

Maria snorted "Stolen cubs? the only cubs ive seen are the ones who ask to join our pride. Much like how I joined." She meowed "There was a Mother who died during a birthing at the edge of the outlands, and we took in the two little females if thats what your asking after. One does look quite like kovu, but that could because the females mate was probly your two's father." she meowed. "Considering he probly still wanders around here." she added, her tail dropping and wraping around Mika's, stoping its angry flicking.
