A little smile appeared on her face as the sunlight warmed her and she whinnied happily. Hana laughed, nodding, before hugging both her mate and daughter feircely, so glad that they were all okay and safe now. If they could survive that, they could survive anything together!
"I'm sure they're okay." Coal replied soothingly, kissing her on the cheek and smiling serenely. "They're not dumb, I'm sure they had the same idea that we did and headed inside in time to save themselves." He glanced toward the boarded-up windows and felt anxious to see what had happened. "Do you want to go outside?" He offered, standing so that he could stretch out his legs and wake up a little. He felt drowsy from not moving for very long, it felt like he had slept through the whole thing.
Dot smiled, "Nothing can stop us!" He hugged her back hard. "I love you two so much!" He neighed. He stood soaking in the sunlight. He felt like nothing could be better. He settled down and lie in the grass. He smiled dreamily. He sighed and continued smiling. He was in a dream, he was almost sure of it.
Snowy neighed "Yeah!" She got up and trotted out the door, she stopped waiting for him. She looked back at him and saw a set of jumps set up and ran towards them. She cleared each jump with room left over. She cantered back to him. "Sorry I can't help it! When I see jumps, I need to leap over them! It's like swimming to you!" She felt thrilled. She made an 'I'm Sorry!' face.
