"Chubbi? Chubbi?" a small voice squeaked.
A fluffy kitten laid sleeping on her soft boulder, curled up contentedly, but her feathered ears twitched in annoyance as Chester's gray paws was pressed against her flank.
"Wake up! The Housefolk are gone!"
"They'll come back," the kitten growled, waving her brother's paws away and curling her tail tighter upon her pink nose. "Go bother Mother; give me another hour."
But Chester was persistent. He leaped upon his sister, usually a sure death sentence, and landed right upon her exposed flank. "But this time's different!" Chester insisted.
Instinctively, the kitten hissed and snarled underneath her brother's larger size. She scrabbled against the boulder, shredding its skin with her claws, and she finally flipped the battling situation so that she was on top of her brother, her snarling face and glowing amber eyes stuck right to his nose. "Leave. Me. Alone," Chubbi warned, fluffy tail erect.
"Stop!" Chester squeaked, pushing himself as deep as he could into the soft boulder to escape the meacing glare that was his sister's.
Chubbi gave an angry sigh and leaped off of her brother. "I swear, if this is a joke, your head will roll," she hissed, jumping down from the sofa that her Housefolk usually sat on. Immediately, however, she noticed the same thing as Chester had -- everything was different. All the lights were off and the air was still. Judging by the scent, they had been gone for a while; perhaps they had left just last night after she had fallen asleep. Chubbi padded around the house and furrowed her eyes together when she found no sign of movement. Not even the cry of the Twolegs' kit! The rooms were empty, strange since they were usually packed tight with Twoleg contraptions. She returned to her brother, her feathered ears pricked. "Where are they?" she asked, though she knew that Chester would no know either.
A pair of soft pawsteps approached from the outside. Chubbi pricked her ears and craned her head, watching her mother's slender body squeeze through the small slit of the window and approach her kittens. "Where are the Housefolk?" Chubbi questioned.
Elf only shrugged, equally confused and clueless. "They're gone." The small she-cat raised her tail and turned towards the window. "Follow me, kits. Perry will let us stay a while."
'Yes, but he won't like it,' Chubbi could only think grudgingly as she padded after her mother. The scent of her Housefolk lingered everywhere, however, and she gave the nest one last look before leaping over the fence and vanishing from the site forever.
Yes, our Frostedpaw here was once an kittypet. As a kitten, she lived the soft, adventure-less kittypet life and was raised by her mother and Housefolk. She was born alongside her brother, known as Chester, and underneath the reluctant eyes of her father. Perry the coward, she liked to call him. Though he had promised Elf a lifetime of happiness, clearly Perry was not ready to live up with it. Every time he came near his kits, he would shiver as if they were monsters. He was not suited to be a father, and not much of a good lover, either. Elf and he fought a lot, and Perry often times made no attempts to patch it up. Instead, it was always Elf running back to him, despite Chubbi's warnings and words.
One day, in the midst of her perfect though imperfect life, her Housefolk disappeared. Every trace that they had ever lived there was gone, and it was as if the house had never been lived in. It confused Chubbi, waking up like that, but Elf only guided her kits away from the house and to Perry's house. There, the tom reluctantly allowed his kits and mate into the household. The Twolegs there had no objections, either, and fed Chubbi and Chester fabulously. After a while, the Twolegs had adopted the three cats to their own and planned a fabulous trip. Taking all the cats with them, they traveled in their growling, shiny monsters and stopped on their expedition at a building place. While the Twolegs were fitting a nozzle into the monster's skin, Chubbi discovered a small escape hole at the trunk and took the chance. She was always curious of the outside world, and this was the perfect time to see it! Besides, it seemed as if the Twolegs would be there for a while. So she squeezed through the hole and escaped into the forest. Long story short, she was discovered by a patrol of wild cats. Chubbi challenged them, and they laughed as if it were the most funniest thing they had seen in a long while.
After that, she was taken to a camp where she was presented like prey before a cat that the other cats basically worshiped and followed. When they saw her collar, they laughed. Words such as "softie" and "kittypet" were thrown at her, but Chubbi hardly understood those words. She just sat there and blinked, not knowing why they teased her and her collar. The leader asked of her origins, to which she replied confidently that she came from a Twoleg nest and lived with her Housefolk, mother, and brother. The leader was kind enough to offer a patrol back to where her Housefolk had stopped, but when Chubbi was escorted back, they were gone. Their red monster was missing! Only the putrid scent of something stayed behind. With no choice, Chubbi joined the group that called themselves SunClan. Her collar was ripped off of her, lost forever, and her name was changed to Frostedpaw. Now, that she was uncomfortable with. She hated her name, Frostedpaw. It sounded stupid!
It must've been well into the day, because the light was particularly harsh when it hit Frostedpaw's white face. Growling deep in her throat, she slowly blinked her eyes open and took in her surroundings. It was hard to imagine that she wasn't waking up with Chester clinging annoyingly to her flank and Elf curled up next to her. Now, she woke up alone in her nest made of twigs and moss. Frostedpaw shook the nostalgia off of her shoulders and stood, shaking the balls of moss off of her fluffy, long white fur and then padding out of her den. In the middle of the camp, she spotted a pile that composed of prey. Mice and birds and whatnot, all for them to eat. Personally, Frostedpaw didn't like wild prey. It tasted strange, but she had to survive somehow. Frostedpaw picked over the pile and finally selected a average-sized mouse, to which she went to the corner of camp to eat.

{ It isn't happening yet... but there are plans for one xD We just really need more cats in the other Clans (besides from Sun Clan) before we do anything, since they have barely anyone... }
Foxstar smiled warmly at the apprentice. "Well done!" He mewed, sitting before her, and curling his tail neatly around her paws. "You must always feed the Clan before yourself," He stated simply, relaying the warrior code to the young she-cat. "But in this case, since you have been working hard, I give you permission to eat."

Shatteredstep's expression softened, and she nodded. It was true, both Monty was joining the Clan, and Moonfang had been acting wired lately. Her brow creased for a heart beat, as she wondered why Emberflame had said what she did, it was almost as if she read her mind. As quickly as her expression appeared, it vanished, and she let a mrrow of laughter escape he maw. "He has..." She agreed, amusement filling her eyes, "I wonder what has gotten into him..."

She had to shake her head! 'I can't!' She looked away as her stomach growled again, 'I can never go against the warrior code no matter what' she looked at down the mouse that dropped out of her mouth before she could say anything. Her loyalty was too strong, she was hungry but she had to stop herself from anymore temptation.
She chuckled softly, her attitude brightened as though she revert to normal state. She looked back up towards her brother, I wonder why, she chuckled to herself. She then looked at ShatteredStep 'Has the kittypet earned a name yet?' She sat down and licked her front paw as she was getting comfy in the sun.

When she became the deputy she was full of anger annd disgrace as her fellow kin had betrayed her and left the clan. At that point she became detached and no longer wanted to be apart of anything the clan had to offer. She learnt the hard way to go through pain and all the things that go through the clans and the forest.
