Foxstar let out a mrrow of laughter at the sound of her grumbling stomach. "We'll hunt on the way back," He told her softly, leading her out of the training arena. Foxstar weaved expertly around each tree, each bush, and over each log. There was not one thing in their stretch of the forest that he didn't know about. Once the neared a large oak tree, he came to a stop. "What can you scent?" He asked her softly, wondering if she had been out enough times, to know of each individual scent by now.

"This is Monty," Shatteredstep replied calmly, trying to sooth her leader's anxious tones. She understood why she would feel so worried at the sight of the new comer, but knew that she'd come around. "Yes, he was on Sun Clan territory, just beyond his fence, and he attacked us. He said that he was protecting his own land." Shatteredstep then tore her gaze from the kitty pet to meet Snowstar's, her voice growing quiet so that only her leader could hear, "He shows great courage, and potential," She explained, "He'd make a welcomed addition to the clan."

"He's at an appentice age or so... I guess he may join. But he better not stay kittypet soft." She said aloud. "If I could grow out of it, he can." She added, quieter and more to herself.

Shatteredstep nodded. She had to agree with her leader. He did show foolishness. But was his actions really as foolish as they seemed? It showed that he was willing to do anything to protect what it was he stood for. That was something that some warriors would never be able to do. "And you have proven yourself to be more than a fine warrior," She mewed, defending the kitty pet at the same time as complementing the she-cat, "But a great leader. Paw steps that Monty can aspire to follow." Shatteredstep rose to her paws with a small grunt, leaning heavily on her three good legs, since she had over worked the other from running. "If something goes wrong," She mewed nonchalantly, "Then I shall take full responsibility for it."

Snowstar sighed and laid down with her head on her paws watching out toward the camp. I just get the feeling I'll regret this. I don't know why. Just because I don't like kittypets. Besides my mother. Why did she have to die?
