Kay heard the roar, but stayed put. If he was wanted, she could just find him.

The dragoness flew around, banking and landing as she reached her cave. She folded in her aqua wings and smiled, yawning and stepping into the cave. She looked out the entrance and noticed others. Hmm... Maybe I'll go visit after supper.. Flicker thought, chucking the rat she had caught on her table made of the never-melting ice, her village was known for.

Kay shot a fire ball out of his cave entrance. He set up his sleeping nest, filling it with his new collection of stones and crystals.

Flicker toasted her rat, switching from ice breath to fire breath. She switched back then ate her rat, standing up and walking out of her cave. She roared loudly, then took off into flight, flapping her wings hard against the headwinds.

Kay dove into the water, and hunted down his next snack. He came back up with a conch snail, and a mouthful of clams.
