Bevan
An exasperated sigh escaped her. "Fine," she replied and walked away, calling over her shoulder, "thanks anyway." She didn't really mean it, but she knew better than to be disrespectful to her leader.
As she walked out into the forest she couldn't stop thinking about it. "I am his leader, not his mother" Reika had said...it made Bevan wonder if Colby did have a family if that would have influenced him into caring more for his wings and making more of an effort to fly.
"Maybe if he had had siblings to flutter with," she muttered, "or parents to teach him...."
INstead of looking at where she was stepping all she saw was Colby, imagining him with any sort of family, picturing him flying, wondering how he'd explain his lack of flight to offspring.
"Oh wait," Bevan smirked to herself, "he's not going to." She then scoffed his quote, "'me myself and I'" She shook her head, "Let's see what they do for you when you need your wings but cannot use them!" As far as she knew, no one was around, but she continued talking regardless.
((Type up a nice lil chunk of stuff and click submit to find...a response that calls for something different. Because...well, just because, I'm going to go ahead and leave what I put, but it doesn't really count for anything, I guess))
"Hey!" Bevan fluffed her fur at the unexpected excitement, still a bit frazzled. She glanced at Reika and hoped she'd understand her need to go after him. The young she-cat began racing after the tom, using her wings to take flight and gain on him.
