Arctic shrank back when she saw a human walk in.He was carrying a wolf skin.She saw him lay eyes on her and knew she didn't have long left.When he'd gone she kept scrabbling at the latch

Sam looked at him and nodded. "Night!" She called. "Arctic!"

Arctics ears pricked.She strained to hear Sam calling her.She threw her head back and howled hoping their were wolves close enough to hear

Night - *Sniffs but can't seem to find Arctic's sent* She must have been gone longer tan I thought... her sent has faded away...

Sam heard a howl. "That sounded lick Arctic!" She ran in the direction of the howl.

Skyler -Wait up! *He ran after her*

Sam stopped and waited for him. She then found Arctic. (where is she?)

Arctic carried on working on the latch.She'd managed to escape once before as a pup but that had taken days for her.Her heart lept with joy when she saw Skyler and Sam.Her tail wagged furiously"Oh thank goodness you've found me"She breathed but kept glancing around nervously in case the humans came back
