Chi woke up again. She walked out of the den and looked over at Achak, then at the other dogs sleeping. Is everyone really still asleep!?, She thought. Chi stretched outside the shelter and walked a few feet out of the camp. I'll just scout for a while, she thought and trotted off. The same pond as before was nearby and she walked over to it. She looked over the pond at her reflection which was an orange colored dog with a white underbelly. Chi still looked like a pup but she was a year old, not much of a pup. Suddenly she slipped on the mud and fell in. She immediately swam to the surface and swallowed in the fresh air. "Wow i thought i was gonna drown." She said with a smile on her face and walked out of the water. Chi shook herself dry and laughed as her fur poofed out like an afro.

"Oh."Carter paused for a long time before saying anything else."I uh I can't.I just can't."he stood up and shook off his fur."If you'll excuse me I need to be alone for a moment."he trotted off into the woods.I know you wanted me to be happy but I can't without you.

Capri sighed deeply "I can't, thats what all the males say,
Am I just un-attracktive, oh wll, I won't let this take the best of me." Capri whispered,
she stood up and walked back to her den, he head moaped down, she never felt
like this.
