Pinkie Pie shook her head quickly, as her bounce slowed down to a walk. "I'm fine... I'm not mad... Just normal ole...." The pink mare sighed, and began to continue on. "...Pinkie Pie." She finished in a quite sad tone. The pink mare knew she sounded sad, so she quickly put up a big smile. "Why are you worrying about little Pinkie Pie, Dashie? You got bigger, huger things to do!" The pink mare made a big gap while spreading her arms to show her how huge.

"If you're sure you're okay..." Rainbow drifted three wingbeats away, "I'll be going. See ya, Pinkie!" She spiraled down to Soarin' to bid him farewell and to inform him that she was going to work with the weather patrol. Rainbow sped off, leaving a faint rainbow beam behind her. She took goggles strapped to her side, pulling them down onto her forehead, rubbed her eye, and pulled them over her purple eyes. "So, Blossomforth, expecting some rain today, are we? You're doing a great job!" Rainbow was the manager of the weather patrol; she could boss pegasi around. She liked that. "Oh, and keep it clear tomorrow, will you? Don't ask why." A shade of red as bright as an apple rose from her face.

The young cat slowly crouched down, keeping its bright yellow eyes on its target; a plump, gray field mouse. The little rodent scurried around, grabbing a small nut between its paws and nibbling on it. Seeing its chance, the cat crept forward, tail tip twitching excitedly. Heartbeats seemed to drag on as the cat waited patiantly. The mouse finished its meal, scratching itself with its back towards the mouse. Pushing off its hind legs, the cat flew throuhg the air, landing near the mouse and battnig it to the side. The small, gray rodent was dazed, which gave the cat a chance to pin it down. Its squeak was cut off abrubtly as the cat killed its prey with a swift nip to the neck. Purring with satisfaction, the young cat picked up its food and trotted back to its den.

Applejack seemed lost in thought. She didn't seem to like him singing to Twilight. He decided to test that out. "What can I say, my dear, to make it clear? I need you badly, badly, madame librarian. Marian." He sang. "If I stumbled, and I busted my what you may call it I could lie on your floor unnoticed until my body had turned to caaaa-Oof." A marble had slipped out of the small sack he was carrying, and he slipped on it, bringing him to the ground. He slowly stood up. "...rion." He finished.

Canvas happily trotted around Ponyville, enjoying the wonderful day. She stopped, looking out at the town. It looked so nice in the afternoon light! "I should really paint this scene!" She mumbled to herself with a smile. She spun around, galloping back to her art studio. All she had to do was get her portable canvas and her paint case, and she would be able to make a masterpiece!

[Coopers Cave]

Spark flew around at a high altitude. "Its a gorgeous day today." she said to herself. She landed on a small cloud and looked over the edge.

Apple Jack made up her mind. If her friends were really straying away from each other, she had to say it now! The mare took her chance to say something when Flim fell on one of his marbles. "As I was sayin' Twi..." She trailed off, and messed with her hat. The mare's face was flushed. "Want to go to a movie or something later on...?"

Rainbow laid back on a cloud, letting out a sigh of a relief. The fact that just sitting there lazily watching everypony else work and getting paid for it was epic. And the fact she had a date with a Wonderbolt tomorrow...everything seemed perfect. The only thing that could ever ruin the perfectness, she thought, was if the date ended wrong. No, that couldn't happen, could it? Rainbow decided not to stress herself out by thinking about it. She cleared her mind of almost all thoughts and crossed her legs, her forelegs flung behind her head.

The green mare burst into her art studio, gathering her needed supplies. A paintbursh, an extra just in case, some paint cups, and her portable canvas with extra paper. Stuffing her items in a large bag, she slung it over her shoulder, then darted out of the art studio.

Flim's pupils diolated, his mouth drooping open. So that is why Applejack didn't like him singing to her. Vinyl Scratch gasped, jumping but being careful as not to anger the raptor on his back. "Holy mother of Chillstep! This is a sure twist!" the mare concluded. Flim just sat there. No way was Madame librarian going to love him back now. This had come like a slap to his face. Soon enough he was holding back tears, beginning to put his good acting to use. He just sat there, stunned.

Another white unicorn strolled through Ponyville, humming a love song that had been stuck in her head for weeks. Heart's Desire then saw a green mare running out of an art studio of some sort. She hadn't seen her around...! She ran to catch up with her. "Hey! My name is Heart's Desire-Oop, you dropped a paintbrush!" she said, levitating the extra one she had grabbed into a dark pink glow.
