Quartzpelt lay on her side on a big rock, she was sleeping when she heard a noise, her ears pricked to the sound and she sniffed the air. her eyes wide.

Brackenkit jumped out of the bushes and ran over to Quartzpelt, "Hello aunty!" he meowed.

Quartzpelt laughed as Brackenkit tryed to bite her tail, Brackenkits mother, Quartzpelt's sister had died of two-leg poison, Quartzpelt struggled to hold back tears at the thought of her sister, for Brackenkit.. dont cry... she thought to herself.

Hazelberry decided she would go hunting for herbs.
