Leaves cover the forest floor and crackle under your paws as you make your way through a thick leafy canopy, looking at every detail of this new and exciting place. Your ears twitch as you hear a small scuffling sound, looking around, you see a plump squirrel searching for something in the moist soil, it's tail brushing against the dry leaves around it. Instinctively you lower into a crouching position with the objective to catch the prey, you slowly move towards it, but not knowing this forest, your paws slip on the dead leaves. Your prey runs away from you, right into the paws of another cat. You chide yourself for letting your guard down, the tortoiseshell she-cat must have blended right in with the surroundings. You know by looking at her that she had lived in this forest for most of her life, her fur was sleek and she was an agile cat. "My name is Pinestar. Maybe you would like to join me in this forest? You look like a worthy enough cat." You notice you have been staring at the she-cat and look down, embarrassed. Hearing what she said, you wonder what it would be like, to live with other cats. "Would you like to join LeafClan?" You gently nod your head to the she-cat's question, and begin to follow her through the forest, Pinestar's paws making small prints trailing behind her in the soft earth.

Welcome to LeafClan! We have one neighboring clan, HailClan. Sometimes they cause trouble, so we always need to be alert.

This is a semi-lit roleplay, I expect at least three solid sentences.

Rules:
All of Tess' rules apply.
No killing/majorly hurting other characters without the user's permission.
No using bad words for your characters, instead use words from the warrior series. (Such as; mouse dung, foxheart, mouse-brain, ect.)
No pleading or threatening to get a position, there are some which I would like to pick.
If your character starts as a kit or an apprentice, type the name of your cat with the normal kit/paw, but put in brackets the name you want them to have as a warrior, if you want me to choose, don't do this.
This is a roleplay, not a topic for chatting with your friends, if I see to much of this you will get a warning or be banned.
Do not double post, just edit what you forgot to say into your last post.
You can not choose to be a StarClan cat.
You can have as many cats as you want, but make sure you can keep them all active.
Please do not use the book for names, I'd like if they were unique.
You need to notify me if you're not going to be active for a long period.

The river is flooding. Pinestar had a dream from StarClan about the prophecy, where she saw the river as a lake, covering most of LeafClan's territory. Two warriors had chased a fox away, but it's den is said to be in their territory.

Description:
It has been raining quite a lot, and the river is on the verge of flooding. This morning it's a thick fog and is very muggy out, but is expected to clear up at sunhigh.

LeafClan Camp
The camp where LeafClan's warriors reside.

When you go under a large fallen log, you come into the LeafClan's camp. To your right is the apprentice den and the nursery. The den for the apprentices is an abandoned rabbit hole widened by the cats sleeping there. The nursery entrance is a tunnel under large soft ferns, and the nursery itself is surrounded by small bushes woven to protect the kits and queens. Looking down the left of the camp, you see the warriors den, right up by the entrance in case of a raid. In the middle of the camp is a tall tree stump, the high stump, where the leader of LeafClan stands to call out Clan meetings. Their den is a medium sized hole under the roots of a cedar, where hanging moss covers the entrance. The Elder's den is behind, in a bush with woven twigs through the branches to keep water out. The medicine cat's den is in between the Elder's and the nursery. Inside a woven den, they store their herbs for healing, at the back is a small spring running into a clear pool for the patients to drink from.

The River
A river usually abundant with prey. LeafClan gathers their water here.

This river cuts through the middle of LeafClan, and is where the warriors gather their water for drinking. There are two fallen logs that cross each other where the cats go over to the other side, and low shrubs surround the river on both sides. The running water comes from up in the mountains, where HailClan territory is, down into the lush green valley of LeafClan.

The Training Meadow
This is an open meadow used to train apprentices in their fighting moves.

The soft grass of this small clearing breaks the fall of the clumsy apprentices who practice here. There is an old elm that hangs over part of the meadow, providing cool shade for hot days when battle training is going on. It is surrounded by large bushes and tall grass, the entrance is a small path almost tunnel like from the overhanging grass, it leads back into the forest.

The Old Maple
An excellent hunting spot for prey like squirrels and rabbits. Sometimes used for training purposes in practicing climbing.

There are many holes and burrows around the roots of this ancient maple tree, making it an ideal spot for hunting on a lazy day. Sometimes mentors come with their apprentices to train in climbing, the tree has lots of claw-holds in it's gnarled bark to grip onto. This tree is one of the tallest in the whole of LeafClan.

The Star Tree
This is the place where the Medicine Cats of LeafClan and HailClan go to speak to StarClan.

Any cat seeking help from StarClan must come to this sacred tree, a wide spread oak outside of LeafClan and HailClan's territory. They climb the gnarled bark and sit on one of the top strong branches, looking up at the stars for guidance. StarClan will come if they are worthy for answers.

The Twoleg Place
This place is off limits to all except the Medicine Cat. A group of around eight to nine twoleg nests. Kittypets and their owners live here.

The warriors of LeafClan are not to come here, unless accompanying the Med. Cat for herbs. Catmint grows in some of the gardens, which is used to treat Greencough and is not usually found in the forest.

Personality: This she-cat rarely has a temper, but when some cat gets on her nerve, she'll completely lose her nice, humorous self to take on her battle ready mind. Pinestar is one of the cats who have two sides, one humorous and kind, the other strong and on guard. When her Clanmates need cheering up, she'll joke and converse with them to make them feel better. In battle, you will see the most fierce warrior come at you. If some bad event happens, she will always put the Clan before herself. If there is a shortage of food, she will give her share to the queens, elders and kits, and starve herself. The she-cat would do anything to help her Clan, except risk another cat's life.
Strengths: Pinestar has extraordinary fighting skill. Her level of battling is way up, probably because the fact she had been practicing her balance and fighting moves since she was young.
Weaknesses: When Pine gets into a temper, she won't listen to anyone else, she will lash out at any cat who comes near. The easiest way to explain this, she can not control her rage, at all.

History: As a kit, Pinestar had the name of Pine because of her liking of the trees. She was traveling with the rest of her family, her brother and her mother. They had been moving from place to place for a half-moon already and were very tired and hungry. One night, while her group slept, Pine silently slipped away to explore the forest... and she got lost. Pine grew up into an adult and met with the cats living as loners around the forest, some of them told her stories about a clan that lived up in the mountains. She decided to create a clan herself, and she named it after the many leaves covering the forest floor. Then her name became Pinestar, leader of LeafClan. All these moons later, Pinestar still thinks about her lost family, her suspicions are that they either found and joined HailClan, or that they didn't survive.

Personality: Miststripe is humorous almost all the time, sometimes he can even get annoying. Mostly the only time when he's serious, is if something important is happening, like a battle, perhaps. This tom never gets impatient though, so he's a good friend to have. It's very easy to forgive him, because he always makes up for it if he hurts a cat's feelings.
Strengths: Miststripe is pretty good when it comes to fighting, but will make some mistakes. He always learns from them though.
Weaknesses: The tom is a clumsy hunter, he is strong, but has absolutely no balance.

History: Mist and Dark were the same age, about apprentice ready in Clanlife, when his mother was pregnant with another litter. They had been rescued by a patrol who had caught them on LeafClan's territory, and brought back to camp where they joined the Clan. Unfortunately, when Mist's new younger brother was born, it was the middle of winter, very uncommon. Over the night, Beekit, his new brother, died of the cold. About three moons later, their parents were out hunting, when a badger caught them off guard. They were killed, and the now Darkpaw, ran away from the Clan, too devastated to care for the warrior code. Mistpaw chose his warrior name, in memory of his parents. He lived the rest of his life in the Clan, and soon grew to like every cat, forgetting his sorrow.

Sunflash of LeafClan

Personality: Sunflash can be very annoying at times, his hobby is playing pranks on other cats. Even when something terrible is happening, he doesn't let it get in the way of his tricks. He gets punished alot for this, but only if they can catch him, he can run very fast... hence the name.
Strengths: Speed, and fighting. He uses these two talents in battle, and he's really good at them. He's also very good at planning his tricks on other cats, but that can sometimes be a weakness, too.
Weaknesses: Sunflash never makes friends, he'd prank them all. He's also not the best at hunting.

Crush: Reserved
Kin: Unknown, he was born on what twolegs would call a breeding farm.

History: Sunflash had earned his warrior name early, he had fought bravely in a battle against HailClan, avoiding almost every attack aimed at him with the toms fast movements. He was previously a kittypet, with the name of Sunny, who lived in the twoleg place, but had heard of a group of wild cats who fought each other and hunted in the forest. His friends had said terrible and scary things about what these cats did, so he wanted to prove that he was braver than all the others. The tom went into the forest and met up with a patrol as he tried to catch a small rabbit rather noisely. Sunny was then taken back to their camp to talk to the leader, and he was accepted into the clan. His kittypet friends still think he was eaten by the warrior cats.

Personality: Oak is one of those cats that kits and some apprentices would call 'cranky'. He's very stern most times, but he has a soft spot for his sister, even though he is the complete opposite from her.
Strengths: This tom is very intelligent when it comes to battle plans and ambushes. He is really great at fighting and predicting his opponents moves.
Weaknesses: Oak has almost no balance when not in battle, he's probably the worst hunter of anycat.

History: Oak and his sister Dusk were born together in a litter of four, their mother was a loner, their father, a former kittypet. Their father was captured by the twolegs again, and taken away from his mate. Their mother had run away with the kits, fearful for them. She traveled far, and one kit was weaker than the others and did not survive the first moon. After a year of a hard life, their mother had died, and the three were left to fend for themselves. One night, a fox had made it's way to where they had set camp, they tried to fight it, but one cat had died at the beast's claws. With that, the last two, Oak and Dusk, set out to find a better place, somewhere they could feel safe.

Wildflower

Name: Wildflower

Pic: Wildflower is a sleek, unusually golden-spotted, dappled, tabby she-cat with amber eyes, patchy fur, and a long, winding tail (to sum it up shortly). However, this is a more detailed description than the illustration above and left can provide. Wildflower is a curvaceous golden tabby she-cat whose stripes are only faintly visible under her prominently dappled coat (Twolegs would refer to her as a Bengal cat). Her fur is bizarrely soft, a bit like goose's feathers. Her legs are long and muscular, powering her through swift running and difficult swimming. Her eyes are a fiery amber. Her muzzle, chest, and underbelly are paler than the rest of her fur. Wildflower is lean and muscular; her tail is medium-sized, sweeping, and feathery. Her paws are small, but not necessarily delicate: they hide wickedly sharp claws. She is not broad shouldered; in fact, her shoulders are the only seemingly tiny, fragile part of her. The scar on Wildflower's upper right shoulder is from a fight with a fox, and so is the one underneath it. The scar on her lower right front leg is from getting caught in a rabbit noose. The blemish on her left shoulder is from a fight with another rogue cat. The scar on her back came from a weasel. The scars on her hindquarters are from the various thorns that she got tangled up in upon her arrival to LeafClan territory. The scars on her tail are from a dog she narrowly escaped. Wildflower is only self-conscious about her scars. She wakes up at dawn and attempts to groom her fur so that it covers them, but instead her pelt sticks out in a patchy way, calling attention to the pale red reminders of her past.

Personality: Wildflower is prickly and sarcastic. She has thick skin and can return insults just as fast as she receives them. Wildflower isn't a bad cat and never was. She's just uncomfortable around other cats, especially toms. But when she's with her friends, you can see a soft side. Wildflower can be very funny and witty, but when she gets angry cats shy away from her. She has secret, hidden dreams, but never thought she was going to be made deputy until it happened. However, she hides these goals and wishes underneath a hard, scarred exterior. Wildflower does not mean to hurt cats when she fires off an insult, and promptly has trouble apologizing. She doesn't "call it like she sees it." She isn't mean purposefully; she just assumes that every cat has the same thick skin as she does. Wildflower has issues controlling her verbal filter; she hates feeling guilty when she hurts another cat's feelings. Wildflower is fierce and will stand up for what she believes in, even if she is punished for it severely. She is stubborn and impatient. She has trouble living in the moment. It is hard to become friends with Wildflower because she appears so cold and standoffish; however, she warms up to other cats eventually. Wildflower sometimes pretends she doesn't correctly interpret other cats' feelings towards her, or the body language they present. Although she is tough on the outside, she has been known to show a fondness for elders and apprentices. However, she is uncomfortable around toms, kits, and queens, possibly because of the lack of parental figures in her life, and the fact that she had to grow up so fast. She is cryptic when it comes to displaying her feelings, and usually has a guarded or indifferent look in her eyes. Wildflower is like an open book when she is angry, frustrated, hungry, thirsty, or amused. Her other emotions are harder to read.

Crush/Mate:

Brief History: Wildflower was born to a rogue mother in a city. She does not know who her father is, and her only memories of her mother are the scent of milk on cream fur, rain, and a cold alley. After she was weaned off of her milk, eyes barely opened, she was abandoned there and had to learn to live on her own. Eventually, Wildflower made her way to a Twoleg nest on the outskirts of the city where she was given scraps and milk. She did not live with the Twolegs and the food was provided by the Twoleg kits, who called her "Baby". She thought that this was her real name. "Baby" was eventually chased away by the Twoleg kits' mother, who threw a large metal pot at Wildflower, who never returned and set off on the run to find a new home. She heard rumors of a group of cats who supported each other and lived in the same place, but not near any Twolegs. Wildflower chose a different name for herself after returning to the city and getting into many fights with other cats. She called herself "Wild". After a few moons, she left the Twolegplace and journeyed for about half a moon to reach LeafClan territory, where she was accepted into the Clan as if she were one of their own.

Gender: Female

Pic: Milkfeather is a graceful, creamy brown she-cat with brilliant green eyes. She is a shorthaired cat. Her legs are corded with lean muscle, and her paw pads are calloused from being constantly on the move. Milkfeather's eyes are an emerald color, and an unusual one at that. Her fur is a creamy ecru color, and is soft to the touch. She was named Milkkit because of this pale color. She doesn't have any scars yet, since she's usually one to pick battles she can win. She has long, thorn-sharp claws and a chipped canine tooth after a fall onto a rock as a kit.

Rank: Warrior

Personality: Milkfeather is outgoing, quick with a comeback, funny, and whip-smart. She thinks on her feet and seems to have a solution for every crisis (except her own). She is very stubborn and tends to procrastinate on some things. However, when she makes promises, she keeps them. Whatever a cat has asked for is something she'll follow through with—even if there's a slight delay. Milkfeather is warmhearted. She lets others in and is an open book, never seen with a guarded or mistrustful expression on her face. She is worried that she gets taken advantage of sometimes, but even then she bounces back. She is a sensible, wise warrior. Milkfeather thinks before she acts or speaks, which may make her seem a bit shy and quiet, but when you get to know her you may be laughing all the time. She has a spectacular sense of humor and her sarcastic, random wit is how she makes friends.

Crush/Mate: Miststripe

Brief History: Milkfeather was born in LeafClan. Her mother was Graytail, a fairly average warrior who'd had an affair with a much-hated rogue. Milkfeather's mother left the Clan when she was young, leaving Milkfeather to be raised by the cats you see today.

Personality: Snowpaw is not a cat you want to mess with. She has a sharp wit and an even sharper tongue. Some say she's evil, and no one really disagrees. She's fascinated with rogues and yearns to become one, but can't bring herself to leave the safety and security of the Clan. There are rumors that in training she's holding back, and it seems like it. She always appears to be in control, hiding her true self under a more friendly mask. This may be the truth. When she was found as a kit, she was covered in blood and bore many scars. She doesn't talk about her past so there's no way to know her true origin and intentions. There's not doubt that she's very intelligent, but there is a question whether she will use this intelligence for good.
Strengths: Arguing, fighting, acting, manipulating.
Weaknesses: Kindness, dealing with another cat's love, anger issues

History: She doesn't prefer to talk about it. All you need to know is she was raised by rogues and they taught her things. Dark things. However, she doesn't use these to her advantage in fear of losing control of herself. Once she is a rogue, which she is determined to be, she shall run wild. But until then, things are kept under wraps.
