"I could use some of that soup from earlier," she said softly. "It was really good."

Shine stood and walked downstairs, made more soup and brought it too her.

Cynthia sat up in bed. "Thank you," she said taking the bowl. She ate slowly, but this time she was able to eat it all and was still hungry. "More please?" she asked, holding out her bowl and giving Shine puppy eyes.

Kodi sat near Conifer and Skies watching the happy reunion disappear.

Shine looked at her and nodded, he got her some more soup this time weaker.

Cynthia ate it all then handed the bowl back to him. "You changed that one," she accused him lightly, putting her head back against the headrest.
