Neku flicked his ear, hearing Silentpaw pad off. He got to his paws and hesitantly followed, wondering where in StarClan she could be going now.

When he saw the flowers and felt the low, depressing grip of the place he stopped walking.

Bumblekit scowled and raced after Neku.

"I'm sorry mother. I'm sorry I was blinded by that warrior. I could have saved you. I could have you with me and have me sight. I wouldn't have to be a medicine cat apprentice and i'd be training with the other apprentices. I hate being here alone without you. I hate being a medicine cat apprentice. I hate that I have to drag on my life in dread, waiting for the time when I can join you and be released of my burder; being blind." Silentpaw sobs softly, burying her muzzle in her paws.

Neku looked back at Bumblekit, but when he heard Silentpaw quietly, he bounded over to her without hesitation. The orange tom sat down beside Silentpaw and rested his tail on her side as comfort, not saying anything.

(Her mom. After she was born. She was a warrior apprentice, but they were in battle with Fade clan and her mother was killed and that's when Silentpaw was blinded. This is her history.)

Silentpaw shudders, feeling both rage and sadness. She hated Fadeclan more than anyhting and would do anything for revenge. Yes, revenge. She looks at the rocks and whispers, "I'm sorry momma." Her voice was soft and full of sadness.

Neku thought about his own mother. She was a soft lowlife, nothing to be proud of. She would never die honorably.

Neku glanced at his own paws, unsure of what to say.

[despairz]

Silentpaw sighs and rises to her paws, looking at the sky. She stares a moment, then blinks and pads back to the camp, sitting just inside of it and staring at the place where she had grown, learned all of the skills that she should be happy for, and the place where she never felt truly at home. "I'll never truly be home, no matter where I go." She whispers with a sigh and pads in, walking through and glancing at all of the dens. All burned and destroyed.

Neku watched her go, but stayed at the grave. He glanced at the dying flowers. He sighed and padded back to the meeting place, not wanting to tread on Silentpaw's memories.
