I cower in the bush, I wasn't far from the my housefolk's place. I wanted to meow in terror as the huge, wild cat approuched.

Flowerstar heard movement and scented the air. She smells a kittypet. She sheathes her claws and calmly walks towards the kittypet. "I know you are there kittypet." she said calmly. "Come on out and tell me your name. I wont hurt you, I promise."

I whimpered, and my bell let out a small tink as I shifted around in the bush. I mewed "Otter said the next wild cat I see would eat me." I hide my nose under my tail, not coming out from the bush.

Flowerstar rolls her eyes of that stupid tale. "Thats just make believe tales my friend!" she reassured. "Thats just what all kittypets say just so you dont go into the forest. We dont eat any cats, the only things we eat are mice, voles, moles, birds, fish, rabbits, and rodents. I promise all of the things I say is the truth. Please come on out."

I whimper and crawl out of the bush, since I was the runt of the litter I am very small for my age. I HATE being small! I hide my nose under my tail again.

Flowerstar noticed that this kittypet was small. "Dont be afraid young one." she said. "We have small cats too in our Clan. My name is Flowerstar, the leader of RainClan. Whats your name?"

I stood up and murmered "I'm not small..." I looked up at Flowerstar "My name is Cloud." I mew

Flowerstar looked at the tom. "Cloud," she repeated. Sh notices his coat is white. "The name suits you. What are you doing out here in the forest and not with your twolegs?"
