Mintstar flicked her long tail, her brown, grey, and white fur shining as the sun exploded from behind the clouds. "Would you like to go hunting? It's only us to feed but... there seems nothing else to do..." Her ice-blue eyes were clouded with sadness.

Addercreek stood up. His paws had been itching for something to do. "Sure."He swallowed hard, afraid that if he tried to comfort her, whatever he said would make it worse. In almost all his life, he'd only had to comfort himself. He'd never been in a situation like this. But he'd try to make the best of it, if there was any possability of that. "And we should check the borders. We don't want any WillowClan cats straying here to see if we 'stole' their Clanmates."He meowed, humor glinting in his eyes.

Mintstar laughed and nodded. "That's right. Well, at least they're suffering like us. They have more cats though. This is the absolute best time for them to attack us." Mintstar shivered and ducked out of camp. She dove into the rather cold moat that surrounded the FrostClan camp. Her fur stuck to her large body as she jumped out.

Addercreek followed quickly. "I'm sure they wouldn't attack, though. Ravenfrost keeps refusing to become leader, and I bet their leader still hasn't come back!" he yowled after her, speeding up his pace as he tried desperately to catch up with her. When he finally did, he was out of breath. He stopped, head hanging slightly. His sides heaved in a struggle to breath. "You're....too...fast...."He panted between breaths, a wheeze-ish laugh escaping his throat.

Mintstar had begun to speed up quicker until she was practically running, not noticing; she was in deep thought. Addercreek's loud yowl and his brush of fur on hers snapped her out of her thoughts. "Oh! Sorry about that Addercreek! I was just... thinking." Mintstar bit her lip, slowing down and leaping over a stream. "I'm just worried..."
